Emerald & Ash That's What She Said

Hello!  Sorry for no post yesterday.  I was busy watermarking all the pictures I had and relaxing a little bit.  Actually I am relaxing again while I work on some pretty large posts I've got going up.  One will be later tonight so keep your eyeballs peeled for it.  In the meantime I figured I could spare a few minutes to squeeze out a quickly 1-polish post to share with you!  What I've got for you is Emerald & Ash That's What She Said.  My understanding is that this was another Las Vegas exclusive, but due to a lack of pigment, they won't be reproducing this one to list on their site.  While that is bad news I do have good news!  Emerald & Ash recently re-opened their shop with new cuticle oil scents and all their lovely polish!  So head over and browse around, there's definitely something you will fall in love with.  And I have to throw this out there - E&A have some of the most fabulously scented oil and the formula is top notch!  So here's the quickie post now that I've talked your ear off.

Darling Diva Polish Exclusive Las Vegas Shades: Tie-Dyed Ho Bag, Affair In Vegas & Divas In Vegas!

Saturday night and this wild mama is sitting at home watching Tron for the zillionth time and writing up blog posts!  Watch out - party animal status over here!  That's ok though, you reap the benefits by seeing awesome polish!  Tonight I want to share a few polishes that are Darling Diva Polish Las Vegas exclusives - meaning only the gals who attended the Cocktails & Colors party received these.  But they are just so darn pretty I really wanted to share them.  So please forgive me for showing off polishes that aren't available...trust me when I say that I guarantee there's something in the Darling Diva shop that you will love so please head over there and peruse what's available.  Carrie releases fabulous collections very frequently so keep watch for upcoming beauties too.  Let's check these 3 exclusive polishes out and hopefully you disown me for being such a tease.

Darling Diva Polish: Shop, Mei Mei's Signatures, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter

Up first is Divas in Vegas!.  This is a gorgeous purple jelly polish full of blue to purple shifting iridescent flakies and holo sparkle.  This is just so, so...YEOWZA!  Carrie is good at creating polish porn and this is a perfect example.  The formula and application were both great.  I used 3 coats of Divas in Vegas! for full coverage and finished with a layer of topcoat.

Another gorgeous purple...this is Affair in Vegas.  It's a darker shade of purple than Divas in Vegas! and also a more creme-type finish.  Affair in Vegas is full of ultra chrome flakies so you know it's going to be a total stunner.  The formula and application were both stellar.  I used 3 thin coats of Affair in Vegas for full coverage and finished with a layer of topcoat.

I saved my favorite for last.  This is Tie-Dyed Ho Bag.  I love that Carrie doesn't hold anything back when she names her polish.  I find the names all very amusing and since I've actually had the fortune to meet her in person endearing because I can totally hear her using these terms in regular conversation.  But I digress.  Tie-Dyed Ho Bag is so amazing and beautiful I don't think my talking about tit will do it any justice, but I shall try to describe it.  This is a super shifty base full of holo shimmer and ultra chrome flakies.  You get so many colors in here!  Pink, purple, green, blue, teal!  I wore it alone a while back and it was so beautiful, but I had a bit of visible nail line so I started with a neutral base color - a light grey.  Formula and application of Tie-Dyed Ho Bag was fabulous.  I used 2 coats and finished with a layer of topcoat.

6 Harts Nice Peaches

Good afternoon!  I just finished up a yummy lunch and plopped myself on the couch.  I have to get up again to head to Target soon - school supply shopping.  But for now I will just let my belly feel nice and full and veg out.  But since it takes practically zero effort to type I decided to hop on and share a post with you!  Today I have another beauty I picked up from the Cocktails & Colors indie after party while in Vegas for CosmoProf.  6 Harts created this gorgeous peachy polish as  July exclusive for the event.  While this is currently an exclusive color it "may" be available sometime in the future.  So kee your fingers crossed for that!  You ready to check it out?  Then let's go!

So this peach beauty is Nice Peaches.  Nice Peaches is a pinky-peach shade with a light helping of ultra chrome flakies, golden shimmer and just a touch of holo.  I found the polish creamy and opaque and very fabulous to use.  I had no issues with formula or application.  Honestly, this is my favorite 6 Harts polish that Courtney has created.  Everything about it is aces.  Plus I have a huge weakness for polish in this color family.  I used 2 coats of Nice Peaches and 1 layer of topcoat to finish.

Chaos & Crocodiles Secret Agent: Interrogation and Operation Vegas

Good afternoon!  Are you a secret agent?  Well I am!  A Chaos & Crocodiles Secret Agent that is.  Heehee!  I had the good fortune to meet Sarey, the creator of Chaos & Crocodiles while in Las Vegas and she was awesome.  Another indie maker that is truly passionate about her brand and looking to continually grow and add to the shop.  My hope is that she takes the success of the amazing Secret Agent collection and either adds to it or comes up with an entirely new holo line using the same formula because WOWZA the 2 polishes I am sharing now are fantastic!  I'm sharing these today because Sarey is having a PRE-ORDER tomorrow Saturday 8/30/14 from 12-1pm EDT.  The Secret Agent collection, the Vegas exclusive Operation Vegas and many more will be available.  Can I also tell you that the adorable little mascot crocodile - Chaos, is hand drawn by Sarey, as well as all his little friends that you see on the site.  How cute is that?!  So let's look at these amazing holos and you can start thinking about what you want to order on Saturday.
*PRESS SAMPLE* Chaos & Crocodiles: Shop, Facebook, Instagram    Up first I have Interrogation.  Interrogation is a "coral-leaning orange linear holographic."  This is one super duper linear holo!  I completely love everything about it.  I found the formula creamy and smooth and the application was perfection.  I used 2 coats of Interrogation and no topcoat for my pictures.  This baby has mega holo-y-ness even in indoor lighting!

And this vampy beauty is the Vegas exclusive, Operation Vegas.  This is kind of a hybrid color - shows up a little reddish, a little plummy, a little purple, a little blackened.  It actually looks different on all the bloggers I've seen wear it.  Operation Vegas has a very strong holo flame and it's full of winning.  I simply adore this polish and want to wear it all the time, seriously think about how pretty it is on a daily basis.   Much like Interrogation, the formula was creamy and smooth, while the application was flawless.  I used 2 coats of Operation Vegas and no topcoat.  *Operation Vegas is an LE and will likely be available in limited supply during the Saturday restock. *indoor lighting*
