Lilypad Lacquer Nature's Gift (Dazzled March Holo Grail Box)

Good morning & good weekend!  Last week was long and a bit stressful.  I am very much looking forward to Summer vacation...17 days to go and the boys are out!  Well we've got a little baseball today and them my hubby is going to put some ribs in the smoker and we shall have a nice little dinner!  So I am just going to drop this pretty little polish here for you to look at.  This is Lilypad Lacquer Nature's Gift from the Dazzled March Holo Grail Box.  It was an interesting polish no doubt, but not really what I was expecting for a holo.  Mind you, everyone's opinions and tastes vary, but for me I was slightly let down with it.  Nothing at all wrong with it, I would have just preferred something else - a brighter color, more holo.  Maybe I am just being picky.  Anyways, you take a look and tell me what you think.

Nature's Gift has a lot going on, it's like 2 polishes rolled up into 1.  In the sunlight Nature's Gift is like an inky blackened blue with a tight scattered holo effect.  But in the shade it's more of a green and gold shifting base with flakies.  The formula and application were both good, no issues to report.  I used 2 coats for full coverage and 1 layer of topcoat.

HOLO WEEK: Day 5 - Lilypad Lacquer

Good morning!  It's Friday and day 5 of HOLO WEEK!  Today I have a couple beautiful Lilypad Lacquers to share with you and they are both amazing.  If there's one thing I know it's that Nicole excels at deep, vampy holos.  But what pleasantly surprised me is how well she also does soft, light colors!  So this post shows off both and I am so happy I have them both!

Lilypad Lacquer: Shop, Llarowe, Facebook, Instagram

This is Heart to Heart.  I knew I liked it but I didn't know that I loved it until it was on my nails.  I mean holy heck, how could I not love this?  It's such a perfect darkened "berry red" color.  The holo flame also has deep shades, I see mostly red and a purpley-berry in there.  The formula and application of Heart to Heart were both amazing.  I used 2 gorgeous coats and no topcoat.

On the lighter side we have Oh So Fly. Oh So Fly is an exclusive color to Beauty So Fly, an online beauty shop based in Singapore.  As you guessed, they carry indie and mainstream nail polish.  Oh So Fly is a gorgeous "cornflower blue holo that shifts from pink to purple."  I loved this polish so much! There is a beautiful purple-pink shimmer that seems to shine through all the time and I think that's what the official description is referring to.  The holo flame seems to be mostly green and blue.  There are also some iridescent flakies in there for good measure (though they aren't noticeable in the pictures).  Perfect application and formula.  I used 3 layers and no topcoat.

Lilypad Lacquer Where the Lilypads Grow

Good morning good morning!  It's Monday - boo.  But I have an absolutely stunning polish to show you - yay!  Sadly this was an exclusive - boo.  But Nicole, the sweet gal behind Lilypad Lacquers has so many more amazing holos to choose from and she does ship international (she's in Australia) - yay!  Ok enough of the emotional roller coaster.  This Lilypad holo is a real looker.  I have a few polishes from this brand and I love them - you can see True Blood (one of my hands down favorite holos ever HERE).  I can't wait to add more to my stash.  You can purchase Lilypads directly from the Esty shop or from Llarowe.  You can also follow Lilypad Lacquer on Facebook and Instagram (lilypadlacquer).

So this beauty is Where the Lilypads Grow.  I can't get over how amazing this polish turned out - Nicole outdid herself!  The amount of colors I see is just amazing.  Different shades of blue and purple, teal and lots of green sparkles in the holo rainbow!  I adore it.  And of course the linear holo is amazing, so strong you can even see some of hte holo flare in the shade picture.  But the best part is that WTLPG is a 1 coater!  Woot!  Formula was flawless and application was perfect.  I fished with 1 layer of topcoat and the holo was not diminished.

LilyPad Lacquer Mystical Marine

Hullo!  Just popping in with a quickie post to share.  You know I love me some holos and when I saw the LilyPad Lacquer Show Me Some Sparkle collection I was smitten.  Holo AND holo sparkles!?  Sounds like a win to me so let's take look shall we?  But first, Australian brand LilyPad Lacquer is available on Etsy (with International shipping) as well as Llarowe.  You can also follow LilyPad Lacquer on Facebook and Instagram (lilypadlacquer).

Mystical Marine is described as a "teal/blue/green colour shift, scattered holographic nail lacquer."  I really like that it's almost a metallic holo finish.  I found that Mystical Marine was a tad sheer but built up well.  I ended up using 3 coats to get complete coverage.  Otherwise there were no problems to report with application or formula.  I finished with 1 layer of topcoat.

Lilypad Lacquer True Blood

Good morning deal readers!  I've been on a bit of a holo kick lately, have you noticed?  I just can't get enough of those gorgeous rainbows!  I feel like I've been buying them up with wild abandon and guess what...I'm not even looking back to see my path of destruction.  How do you feel about holos?  They definitely rank as my favorite type of nail polish with glitter bombs as a close second place.  Textures have stolen my heart as well, but they sit happily at 3rd place.  But this post features a holo.  A holo unlike any that I have, in a color that so gorgeous I cried a little when I took it off.  So let's talk a about Lilypad Lacquers.  This is another brand that comes from Australia...there must be something in the water over there because it seems all the Aussie brands really rock!  Lilypad Lacquers is available on Etsy if you are an Aussie native, which I'm not (I'm sharing that page because it shows the entire polish line at Lilypad - happy browsing).  You will be happy to know that Llarowe carries the brand.   I snagged this baby and now I want more!  Lilypad is on Facebook and Instagram (lilypadlacquer).

True Blood.  It comes from the Colour My World collection and the entire collection is pretty stunning!  You should check it out.  But I want to share my feelings about True Blood.  I'm in love.  True Blood is gorgeous.  It's described by the maker as an "intense deep purpley red/burgundy holographic nail lacquer."  I'd say that's a spot on description.    What I think I love most about this polish is that (of course) it has a super noticeable holo effect and the holo also seems to be full of sparkly granules!  Almost like it's a linear and scattered holo at the same time!  It reminds me of the Mish Mash Ozotics in a way, but with a more saturated color payoff.  I used 2 coats for complete coverage.  The formula and application were both flawless.  I finished with 1 layer of topcoat and it didn't effect the holo whatsoever.
