Valentine's Day Nails
Good morning lovelies! I think it's high time that I start posting some Valentine's Day mani ideas, what do you think? I'm very proud of this one because not only is it pretty, but I STAMPED!! I did! And it came out pretty good too! Good thing you are looking at my left hand and not my right hand though. I used a mix of drugstore and indie brands, but since drugstore brands are fairly easy to come across I will only list the indie I used today. Well let's take look at this pretty little ditty.
I started this mani with LA Girl Dazzling Pink, a scattered holo, on my ring and pinky nails. This is such a lit from within holo. Dazzling Pink is very flashy - I love that about it. I used 3 coats for full depth and coverage. I also used Barry M Dragon Fruit, a bubblegum pink polish with very light silver shimmer. Dragon Fruit is a fantastic jelly finish and it is so easy to work with it with amazing color payoff! I used 3 coats of Dragon fruit and then stamped a cutesy heart on top with Sinful Colors Black on Black. I used Black on Black as the base for my middle and thumb nails. Such an fabulous 1-coater black creme! I topped that with 2 coats of The Nail Junkie Cupcake - the most adorable glitter combination of light pink, hot pink and red circles with a good helping of holo shimmer in a clear base. Application and formula of Cupcake were both wonderful - loads of glitter came out with each brush dip and the glitter spread nicely on it's own without manipulation. I finished off with 1 layer of topcoat.

Good morning readers! I have more lovely Darling Diva Polish to share with you today! I have been wearing a lot form this brand lately and I have nothing but great things to say about the formula and application! Carrie creates unique and gorgeous polish that is really well made. Both of the ones in my post today are from Llarowe (I see only one is showing in stock) as well as a huge listing of other colors. Alright - let's talk polish! This is Booty Call. I love the name! I can't remember off the top of my head which collection this is from, but wouldn't it be funny for Valentine's Day? Ha! Booty Call is a milky based polish, slightly pinkish in color. It's chalk full of black, red and magenta micro glitters. I am totally digging this one! I really think it's pretty and applied so easily. I used 3 coats with 1 layer of topcoat. It's so glossy and milky how can you resist it? I can imagine how cute it will be with some heart stamps and nail art. The formula was perfect, easy to use and apply. No issues with glitter coming out or spreading evenly on my nails.

Red Dog Designs Ball Pit
It's already morning again? Where does the time go? Well good morning to you since I have another amazing circle polish to share with you! YAY - buy all the circle glitter polishes!! This one comes from Red Dog Designs and it was actually a gift from Gina. The name was a silly joke and she will have changed it for her shop to Ball Pit (isn't that cute!), so I will just call it Ball Pit in this post. Ball Pit a yet to be released polish but be sure to follow her on Facebook, Store, and IG (reddogdesigns) to be informed when it's available!
Ball Pit is an amazing circle glitter polish in a clear base. The circles come in a rainbow of colors as well as different sizes. You'll see small, medium and large circles. Some of the circles are even holo glitters! To make it even better Gina put a good amount of holo sparkle in there to up the bling factor. Ball Pit is just WOW! The formula was wonderful and I have no issues to report. A good amount of circles came out with no fishing required. They spread easily on my nail and laid flat. I used 2 coats of Ball Pit over 2 coats of Illamasqua Venous. I finished with 1 layer of topcoat.

The Nail Junkie Cupcake
I have such a gorgeous polish combo to share with you today! And an indie first for me! I recently received some Nail Junkie polishes and I was really pleased with the quality and uniqueness of the polishes. I have 2 more to wear and am looking forward to playing with them!
I started with 2 coats of Layla 04 - the hot pink soft touch. It's REALLY hot pink! It has a very pretty suede type finish without topcoat and was easy formula to work with. It also dried fairly quickly. I used 2 coats of The Nail Junkie Cupcake on top. Cupcake is circle glitters…yes I said CIRCLES!! Different shades of pink and red in a clear base with silvery glimmer (glitter & shimmer). It's really gorgeous! I got a good amount of glitter on each nail without having to dig. I like how the silver shimmer really shows up well. I accented a nail with a special polish made for me! Happy V-Day Jen! is a clear base with a glowy red glitter and red, pink and white hearts. It was so much fun to use and stunning over the hot pink! The red glitter really stands out and I think that made it a special polish. The hearts and circle glitters layed flat on the nail. I used a layer of topcoat to smooth everything out.
Have you tried The Nail Junkie polishes yet? I'd highly recommend you do post haste!
