OPI: The Neon Collection (partial), Summer 2019

Yeah yeah it's the weekend!  I'm attending my little brothers wedding shower today - it's a couples/family event so lots of people and kids will be there to enjoy the BBQ and festivities.  I can't believe my baby bro is getting hitched!  It's a great day for a BBQ too, it's been super hot here this last week.  I'd say it calls for some neon nails!  I did a little post of a few of the OPI Neon Collection I picked up a while ago.  These are still in stores so if you love them to go pick them up!  They run about $10 a bottle.  Apparently they released a shoe collaboration with Converse and the shoes re adores!  I'm going to see if I can still get them.  While I do some online shopping you should check out my swatches!

Sigh.  I'm sitting over here equally looking forward to and dreading tomorrow.  First day back to school.  I am happy to get some quiet time, but I will miss having the kids at home to hang out with.  I'm also not looking forward to early wake up times.  Even though they do drive me a bit nuts, they are good company and we have plenty of good times together.  I am nervous because 2/3 are starting a new school.  I hope they find people to sit with for lunch, find people to talk to in class, play with on the playground.  I know they will be find and I am just being a worrisome Mama Bear.  I'm currently prepping the requested luncheon menu for next week - musubi.  I am not sure how long they will last but at least they don't take too much work to prepare.  While I wait for the spam to marinate in the sauce I figured I'd share my latest swatches.  These hail from 786 Cosmetics.  I have reviewed this brand before and I am impressed with their formula, color line up and message - being inclusive to all cultures and celebrating all beauty.  786 Cosmetics makes nail polish that is vegan, breathable and halal friendly. Good evening!  I've been out and about all day and I am literally exhausted right now.  It's getting really, really hard to keep up with my typical schedule as I'm getting further along in this pregnancy.  Tired, achey and cranky, that's my current life. Sally Hansen Miracle Gel; Sunset Splash Collection

Good morning!  Look at me, 2 posts in a row.  Who am I?  Haha.  Well I have some gorgeous drugstore polishes to share with you today and you know what, I totally dig them all.  But what I dig most is that they are so easily accessible.  I used to drugstore polish shop very frequently, but my kids schedules took over my life and I spend a lot of time at the schools so that kind of killed that fun outing for me.  But it doesn't mean you can enjoy perusing the aisles of Walgreens, Rite Aid, CVS or even Target to see what types of polishes they have on the shelves!  Aside from appreciating the ease of shopping for Sally Hansen Miracle Gel, I also like that you can coupon and save money on them most of the time.  Even if not you aren't breaking the bank with a huge price tag.  The Sunset Splash Collection consists of 6 shades that are absolutely perfect for the end of Summer, start of Fall!  Let's jump in and see what Sally has in store for us!

Evening all!  Are you a horror movie/Halloween/spooky fan like I am?  I am literally always glued to ghost hunter shows and watch scary movies nightly.  Often I watch them alone because my hubster isn't a fan.  My kids would happily watch with me but I now it's too much for them at their ages (11, 9, 6).  So today I was in the house alone and one of the kids today stared playing music...out of the blue...I've never even heard one of their toys play this song before.  It went off for a good minute and I sat there wide eyed wondering WTF is happening.  Nothing happened again.  But of course that didn't deter me from turning on a scary show.  Anyways, that has absolutely nothing to do with this post.  So I'm done rambling about myself.  Let's talk about the OPI Iceland collection.  HELLO fabulous!  I was super impressed with the colors I this collection, lots of dusty cremes, a couple amazing shimmers, awesome colors for Fall that are both traditional and non.  I received these from Preen.me to review, they have a great website that helps you create all kids of "looks" with info about so many different beauty products.  You can pick up this collection at your local beauty supply stores.  Let's jump in and check them out!

China Glaze Halloween 2017; Happily Never After

Evening lovelies!  Hope you had a nice Wednesday.  It's my kids short day so I get to spend a little more time with them.  Since we skipped gymnastics and soccer was canceled we went on a bike ride around our neighborhood to look at houses with Halloween decorations up.  A few were done up, but most only had up a few things, a pumpkin, spider webs.  We'll have to do it again closer to Halloween to see if things got more festive and spooky.  Since we are talking about Halloween I thought I'd share the newest China Glaze collection.  Happily Never After is the Halloween 2017 collection and it's pretty fantastic!  You can pick these up now at your local Ulta or Sallys.  Alright, let's jump in and check them out!
