Zoya Focus, Fall 2015

Good evening lovely readers!  I'm churning swatches out right now so I thought I'd go ahead and share another post for you to check out.  Zoya released their Fall collection not so long ago and I've already shared the shimmery, pretty Flair collection (see it HERE).  Tonight I have the lux and creamy Focus collection!  Zoya really knows how to make fabulous cremes that are buttery and opaque and always flawless.  Focus is full of great colors and that great formula that I've come to expect and adore.  You can get the polishes from the Focus collection now for $9 USD each.  I'd say to go ahead and make a list of Zoya's you've been meaning to because I bet they'll have a good Black Friday Sale!  Let's delve in and see what Zoya came up with for the season!

Cuccio Royale Collection, Fall 2015

Good morning friends!  I've got a good and somewhat lengthy post for you today.  Way back when I was having the time of my life in Las Vegas and rubbing elbows with all the nail polish peeps, I got to meet some lovely folks representing the Cuccio brand.  Now I knew this brand already because I am a fan of their body butters and cuticle sticks.  I also knew they made polish because I'd seen a few of their gels in my local beauty supply store.  Well what I wasn't expecting was to see this (and another) stunning collection displayed at the Tips & Sips event!  The Royale Collection is Cuccio's answer to the Fall season and it's pretty dang perfect!  Rich cremes, shimmery jewel tones and even a multichrome!  While browsing around the Cuccio website I wasn't able to find this collection, but I did see it available on HB Beauty Bar for $8.50 each.  But keep checking the Cuccio website because I'm sure the Royale collection will be available soon.

This is a long post so I'll try to keep each individual blurb short and sweet.  This is Count Me In, a smokey, purple creme.  The formula was creamy and buttery.  I had full coverage in 1 coat of Count Me In.  No topcoat used.

Paint Box Polish The Knight Bus Collection, Fall 2015

Good evening dears!  It's been a looooong week, I'm so happy it's Friday!  Of course this is going to be a looooong weekend so no rest for the weary.  I'll be packing the family up to head off to a nearby (and middle of no-where) city for my oldest son's soccer tournament.  It'll be fun, but I have a lot to do tonight.  While I have 5 minutes to breathe before my middle's basketball practice I thought we could talk polish!  Paint Box Polish is know for awesome Harry Potter inspired polishes and Pam has a new collection coming out, and yes it's another fabulous set inspired by Harry Potter!  The 4-piece set is called The Knight Bus and it takes scenes from the Prisoner of Azkaban.  This fun and versatile collection will release on Saturday 11/7 at noon EST.  And guess what?  I have a discount code of you to use - MNPO for 15% off your entire order, YAY!  So let's jump in and check things out!

I just wanted to show you Pam's adorable packaging.  I love the wrapping and the little string that ties it up into a neat little parcel.

And here's your first peek at the new The Knight Bus Collection!  Oooh lala, look at those lovely colors!

I also got some mani fizzles and cuticle oils from her recent sale so I thought I'd share those too.  I got Pumpkin Latte and Pumpkin Juice (releasing with The Knight Bus set) cuticle oils as well as S'mores,  Harvest Apple and Pumpkin Spice Mani Fizzies.  They all smell so amazing!  I just have to say that I have tried a few different mani bombs and the ones from Paint Box Polish are hands down my favorite!  They are wonderfully scented and super moisturizing.

Ok, what you were waiting for...POLISH!  Up first is What 'Choo Fell Over For?.  This is a dark grey creme made with white, blue and purple flecks.  What 'Choo Fell Over For? is very unique to my collection - probably to any collection!  I love how the colorful flecks really show through the base.  This one had an awesome formula that applied easily.  I reached full coverage in 2 coats and a layer of topcoat.

The Leaky Cauldron is a dusty, warm, dirty orange linear holo and fiery copper flecks. So I'm probably biased because I love orange but HELLO LOVER!  I love this polish!  Beautiful color, fan-flipping-tastic formula!  This baby applied like butter.  I had full coverage with 2 coats of The Leaky Cauldron and finished with a layer of topcoat.

This is my other favorite in the collection...Won't The Muggles See Us?.  It's a pale blue with grey and violet flakies and white and blue flecks.  This is another totally unique and awesome polish!  Formula and application were both stellar.  I used 2 easy coats of Won't The Muggles See Us? for full coverage.  I finished with a layer of topcoat.

And finally we have The Knight Bus.  This is a buttery blue-leaning purple creme.  It's gorgeous!  This is totally my kind of purple!  The formula was great and very creamy.  I reached full opacity in 2 coats but slapped on a 3rd because I took pictures in the direct sun.  I didn't need topcoat for The Knight Bus - look how shiny and lovely it is!

Hope you enjoyed the post!  Which ones will you be picking up from The Knight Bus?  I really enjoyed them all but if you re going for unique you definitely want to get Won't The Muggles See Us? or What 'Choo Fell Over For?.  And don't forget to use my code - MNPO for 15% off your order!  Be sure to throw some cuticle oil and Mani Fizzies in your cart too, you won't regret it!

Morgan Taylor Rocky Horror Picture Show 40th Anniversary Celebration Collection

This is All White Now, a basic white creme.  A total necessity for any collection.  All White Now is very stark and clean.  I found it a bit streaky but it even out in 3 coats.  I finished with a layer of topcoat.

Glow In The Dark Topcoat is just that - a glow in the dark topcoat.  I used 1 coat over All White Now.  It applied easily and you can wear it over any color.

I was walking through my dim kitchen and look at how the bottle is already glowing!  It barely had any direct light to charge it!

Morgan Taylor Glow In The Dark Topcoat

And here's the Glow In the Dark Topcoat in action!  Very bright but a little streaky.  I bet if you used 2 coats that would be all evened out.  Again this polish took very little light to get a strong charge and a really great glow!

Pretty Woman is a super classic red creme.  It's a timeless color with a fabulous formula.  Creamy and buttery.  I love me a red like this and this didn't disappoint.  I used 2 coats and finished with a layer of topcoat.

And last but not least is Little Black Dress.  This is a totally awesome 1-coat black creme.  Super shiny and fabulous!  I topped this with a layer of topcoat.

Morgan Taylor Fight Like A Lady

Up first I have Sweet Surrender, an extremely sheer, soft pink jelly.  You will have visible nail line with this but I think that's the point.  I actually think it creates a "your nails but better" effect.  Look how bright and clean my nails look!  The formula and application were both great.  I used 2 coats of Sweet Surrender and no topcoat.

Sweetest Thing is the blingy sister of the bunch.  Its a metallic pink glitter in a clear base (actually the base is ever so slightly tinted pink) that you can wear alone or over a base color.  I chose to sponge Sweetest Thing onto my tips and as a full accent nail.  I did this over Sweet Surrender.  I love how it turned out!  The glitter applied easily and heavily.  I only needed to sponge on one layer for full coverage.  I finished up with a layer of topcoat.

Lip Service is a vivid bubblegum pink creme.  This baby is fairly bright and to me bright is happy.  This one had a great formula that evened out nicely in 2 coats.  Just to ensure I didn't have any visible nail line I ended up slapping on a 3rd coat but it was unnecessary.  I finished with a layer of topcoat.

Prettier In Pink is a "watermelon pink creme."  What a gorgeous and vibrant color!  This is another that really makes me happy just to look at it.  The formula and application were both awesome.  Creamy and opaque in 2 coats.  I finished with a layer of topcoat.
