Sweet Heart Polish Celebration Collection

Good evening!  I HAD to share this post with you now, I just couldn't wait until tomorrow.  Ok, probably because this totally fun and gorgeous collection is launching tomorrow morning, but really more so because I love how my swatches turned out and who doesn't love celebrating Disneyland!?  Sweet Heart Polish is at it again with her fabulous Disney inspired collections and this one is AWESOME!  If you're a Disney fan you know that this July Disneyland is celebrating it's 60th year - called the Diamond Celebration.  Cassandra, who is a huge Disneyland fan, just like me, wanted to celebrate the occasion too so she came up with the Celebration Collection!  It's 5 holo glitter polishes that you can layer over anything and with each other to create some awesome looks!  You can pick up the Celebration Collection tomorrow (7/1) at 9am PST.  So I don't want to talk your ear off - let's just get into polish since it's already late!

Up first is Main Street USA.  I went with this one first because it's the first place you see when you enter the park.  I love the atmosphere here, you're immediately hit with the smells of popcorn and burros, the laughter of children and adults.  It screams Americana to me.  Main Street USA is a blend of red holo glitters and red holo mouse head glitters.  I found the formula perfect.  I had zero issues getting glitters out and they spread out on my nails nicely.  I used 2 coats of Main Street USA over Sweet Heart Polish Summer Moon (a light grey holo).  I finished with a layer of topcoat.

After you go through Main Street USA you have some decisions.  Go straight ahead and hit up the castle, or veer to the right or left.  I went to the left and took us to Adventureland (because it's family tradition to always hit up Pirates of the Caribbean first)!  Adventureland is a  blue holo glitter and blue holo mouse head glitter combo that definitely reminds me of that area of the park.  Mainly because of the Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean (rides that float on water).  Adventure screams water and sky to me so blue was the fitting color for the polish/land match up.  Again the formula was really wonderful.  The glitter was plentiful and required no work to get out of the bottle.  I applied 2 coats of Adventureland over Summer Moon and finished with a layer of topcoat.

Heading away from Adventureland and more towards the center of the park and we are now entering Frontierland.  This is all wild west, saloons, mine trains, shooting depot, ranch bbq and barn animals. Frontierland conjures up images of dirt and dust and cowboys, so the earthy (but rich) gold color is perfect for it's namesake part of the park.  Frontierland is a blend of gold holo glitters and gold holo mouse head glitters.  Much like the last 2, the formula was stellar.  Easy to work with and apply.  No fishing needed to get the larger glitters out.  I used 3 coats of Frontierland over Summer Moon and 1 layer of topcoat.

Well now we are back to the center of the park and have arrived at Fantasyland.  This is probably everyone's favorite area of the park.  All the whimsical rides that remind you of your childhood are here.  Peter Pan's Flight, Pinocchio, Dumbo, Alice In Wonderland, the Tea Cups, etc...  Also, this is where the Princesses' reside.  With purple being a regal color, it totally works for Fantasyland.  Fantasyland is a mix of purple holo glitters and purple holo mouse head glitters.  This one seemed to be a bit thinner than the others and I did have to do a bit of coaxing to get the bigger glitters out.  But as you can see from my pictures I fared well and was pleased with the glitter coverage.  I used 2 coats of Fantasyland over Summer Moon.  1 layer of topcoat to smooth things up.

Lopping around to the right of the park is the futuristic Tomorrowland.  This is the home of Space Mountain and Star Tours, park staples!  When I put Tomorrowland on it also had that futuristic/robot/Tron feel that I get when I'm in this section of the park.  So yep, I totally get this pairing.  Tomorrowland is a mix of silver holo glitters and silver holo mouse head glitters.  We are back to that fantastic formula that was easy to work with and applied like a glitter-dream.  I used 2 coats of Tomorrowland over Summer Moon and finished up with a layer of topcoat.

With the 4th of July right around the corner I thought it would be fun to layer a few of the Celebration Collection for a nice red, white and blue mani!  I LOVE HOW THIS TURNED OUT!  I started with Summer Moon again, then layered Main Street USA, Adventureland and Tomorrowland.  It's a mega blingy, mega patriotic mani!

Sweet Heart Polish Disneyland or Bust, Club 33 & Bow-tique Pink

Hullo again!  Good evening to you!  I'm bundled up inside again because it turned out to be a rainy day, just like the forecast claimed.  I spent my morning at the baseball fields watching my little and middle play their games, but my oldest was rained out.  He was so bummed.  Thank goodness there was still a snack because it helped him get over it quickly.  Now I'm home and warm and dry and playing on my blog!  I'm glad to be doing it because I have a new to me brand that is really awesome!  I noticed Sweet Heart Polish recently on Instagram for the Superfine Collection, a set of microglitters named after some fellows that I don't know, but they are so pretty I am totally lemming them!  And hullo what's this Death Is Only The Beginning Collection?  You definitely want to mosey on over and check out the scene in Cassandra's shop!  Tonight I have a few lovely polishes from the Disneyland or Bust collection...perfect because if you know me you know I am a totally Disneyland fanatic (I truly love it and want to live there).  So let's jump in and look at the polish

Sweet Heart Polish: Shop, Facebook, Instagram

Up first I have Disneyland or Bust.  What a fun name for a fun polish!  Disneyland or Bust is a blend of "neon glitter with black mouse heads and rainbow shimmer in a clear suspension base."  I wanted to try something different with this polish so I used the mouse heads to adorn the top of each nail (like a stud, but it's a mouse head!).  The glitters in Disneyland or Bust, including the mouse heads, came out very easily and in plenitude.  They spread easily and laid flat on my nails.  I used 2 coats of Disneyland or Bust over 2 coats of Zoya Arizona.

Next I have Bow-tique Pink.  This adorable polish is "a mix of white glitter and white bows in a berry coloured jelly base."  Bow-tique Pink also had a really pretty silvery shimmer that added some depth to the jelly base.  I love the combination of color and the bow glitters are just so cute.  Formula and application of Bow-tique Pink were both great.  Because it's a jelly it takes a few more coats than normal to build up to a deep color, but the jelly sandwich look you get with a glittered jelly is just awesome.  I used 4 coats of Bow-tique Pink and 1 layer of topcoat.

If you are fan of Disneyland you will know about the exclusive Club 33, that has a waiting list so long you can wait a lifetime to get accepted as a member.  It's a high end, five star restaurant hidden inside the park (seriously I think you need to know the secret knock to get in aside from having your membership card).  It's also the only place in the park where you can get an adult beverage.  Hopefully one day I will get to dine there and see what the hub-bub is all about.  But until that day I will be happy to wear Club 33 on my nails and eat pizza and churros and giant pickles in a bag (classy).  Club 33 is "a mix of gold stars, green matte and holographic clovers and black mouse heads with gold glitter and gold shimmer."  It's a gorgeous blend of glitters, colors and shapes.  The shimmer really makes it feel shi-shi while the shaped glitter keep it fun and casual.  The formula and application of Club 33 were both great.  The glitter shapes came out easily and laid flat on my nails.  I used 2 coats of Club 33 over Kiko 355 and finished with 1 layer of topcoat.
