Winter Mani with KBShimmer Snowflakes Navy Blue Water Slide Decals & Alloy Matey!

Good morning lovelies!  My vacation continues but I am down to 1 guest blogger left and about 6 days to go until I'm back home on US soil.  So I promise to try and share some posts but there's no guarantee since this trip has been go-go-go, see-see-see, eat-eat-eat, do-do-do ALL THE THINGS!  My post for today is another easy mani using KBShimmer Water Slide Decals.  I truly love how easy these are to apply and how they make even a novice nail artist like myself feel like I have something to show off! I also like that these were cute for the holiday as well as the season.  I was also thinking these would make for some amazing Frozen/Elsa nails!  Ok well leave get on with the post!  The Snowflake Navy Blue Water Decals are available in the KBShimmer shop now for $2.95.  Alloy Matey! is also available for $8.75.  And now pictures!

Festive Nails for Family Picture Day

Hey hey again!  One more post tonight.  I'm out on the town this evening for a double date of dinner and drinks, wearing my not-so-ugly Christmas Reindeer sweater.  I thought I'd found a good ugly sweater to wear out but I really thought it was pretty darn cute.  Well all my friends said was cute too so there we have it.  Not-so-ugly.  Anyways, I wore a very cute sweater for my annual family picture day and these were the festive nails I did to match!  My kids wore red, the hubby and I wore black so I incorporated both in my nails.  And I hadn't done a nice accent nail in a while so I did just that!  Let's look!

*nothing to disclose*

I started with Smitten Polish Nose So Bright.  This is one of my favorite red holos EVER.  I will cry some seriously sad tears when this bottle is empty.  The formula and application of Nose So Bright are both perfection.  I used 2 coats of Nose So Bright and 1 layer of topcoat.

I then did an accent nail, starting with a plain back creme.  I sponged both Lumina Lacquer Soleil and Different Dimension Big Bang onto the end of my nail.  The blend of silver and gold uber holo micro glitters is just so luxurious.  I finished this off with 1 thick layer of topcoat.

And just because I thought you might be interested in seeing it...here's my not-so-ugly Christmas sweater.  I found it at the JCrew Factory store and after discounts I only paid $18 for it!  Steal!

Sinful Colors Bikini & Sation Miss & Makeup

Morning polish friends!  I didn't have any posts scheduled for today so I browsed through my drafts and I had this one!  Hello hot pink nails!  I really love me some pink polish and the brighter the better.  I'm definitely no Barbie girl, more of a tomboy my whole life, but pink sure does speak to me!

I started this with Sinful Colors Bikini.  Bikini is a mega hot magenta-pink polish with a purple (maybe fuchsia) shimmer.  It's bright, it's borderline neon, it's pretty awesome!  Bikini was a tad liquidy and there was some pooling off to the sides.  I did a rush job on this mani though, I'm sure if I would have taken my time all would have been fine.  I used 2 coats of Bikini.

I then topped Bikini with this awesome Sation polish - Miss and Makeup.  As far as I can tell Sation is only available at CosmoProf and on Amazon.  The only ones I have were gifts from my friend Gina.  Miss and Makeup is a great mix of hot pink hexs, silver and black shards, silver holo bars and silver holo microglitter in a clear base.  Since I used a pink base to start some of the pink hexs are lost in the mix, so next time I might try it over a nude or a light pink.  But I still love it!  Bright, sparkly, gorgeous! I used 2 coats of Miss and Makeup and then 1 layer of topcoat.
