Shimmer Polish Cristina

I was digging through my drawer of untried indie polishes and happily came across Shimmer Polish Cristina!  I must have saved her for last because she is a total stunner!

I started this gorgeous mani combo with Catrice Be Pool.  Be Pool is a teal color polish, maybe a tad more green with gold and green shimmer.  It's almost as if it were made to be undies for Cristina!  I used 2 coats of Be Pool for full coverage.  Then I layered 1 coat of Cristina over BP.  Cristina is a unique glitter color in my collection.  She's a deep teal, mostly showing green glitter.  But there are also blue, red and gold glitters which make for lovely pops of color!  There is a fuchsia tint to the base, but you will only see it if you wear Cristina sans undies.  You will probably need 3-4 coats if you want to wear her alone.  The formula was true to Shimmer Polishes, plenty of glitter with each brush stroke, easy to apply and smooth with 1 layer of topcoat.

This may be my favorite Shimmer Polish!  It's just so pretty and the colors play off each other so well.  What has been your favorite Shimmer I've reviewed?   You can follow Shimmer Polish on Facebook and the Shimmer Polish Blog.  You can purchase Cristina and other sparkly creations from the Shimmer Polish Etsy store.

Ninja Polish Divinity

Goodness I have something stunning to share with you tonight!  Ninja Polish Divinity.  Divinity is a brand new polish from the Ninja Polish Enigma collection.  Divinity is 100% lick your computer screen  worthy.  Seriously, I spent the entire day trying to take pictures in different settings and lighting to show all the different personalities of this polish.  Hopefully the amount of pictures I am going to bombard you with will help you get a small idea of how lovely and versatile this polish is.

Divinity is a color shifting polish.  It all starts with a pretty purple base.  Add some magic ninja shimmer dust to see magenta, red, gold, and green.  Even now I can see blackened teal on my nails!  I can't explain how it happens, all I know is that I only needed 2 coats for full coverage (excuse the user error on my pinky nail - I didn't wait at all between coats on that nail).  I used 1 layer of topcoat to seal it all in!

So, what to do you think of this one?  I'm floored at how gorgeous it is!  I am very excited to get the other Enigma - Ambrosia!  You can purchase Ninja Polish and a ton of other great polish at Ninjapolish.com!  Be sure to follow the Ninja Polish blog (and enter the current giveaway) and Facebook page for updates on upcoming products and restock information!  And you can follow me on Facebook too!!

6 Harts Polish Secret Galaxy

Today I have one more 6 Harts polish to share with you.  Secret Galaxy is a stunning and sparkly color changing topper that makes regular creme polishes something to swoon over!

I started this mani with 2 coats each of Orly Calypso Breeze and Blue Collar as an accent nail.  Both of them are pretty enough on their own, but with 1 layer of Secret Galaxy the colors really come alive!  Secret Galaxy is an amazing color shifting topper that looks amazing layered over black, but I always like to try something different, hence the choice of blue polishes.  Secret Galaxy has this great shimmer that shifts from blue to purple.  The outside pictures only show the blue sparkle, but the inside pics show a bit of the purple.  You will see this shift better over a darker color like black which is displayed on the etsy listing.  If you want some seriously blingy nails and are not a fan of glitter bombs this is a great option for you.  The formula was wonderful, smooth and easily applied on the nails.  1 coat was absolutely sufficient for the desired effect.  I used 1 layer of topcoat to finish it off.

You can purchase 6 Harts Polish Secret Galaxy and others on etsy.  You can follow them on Facebook for updates.

Give me a "Like" on Facebook as well!

Takko Lacquer Marie Antoinette

I'm going a little out of order with this post (i.e. I'm bumping it to the head of the pack) because I really want to show this beauty off!!  This is Takko Lacquer Marie Antoinette.  I love it.  Hard.  Sadly Takkos are quite hard to snag.  The restocks are frequent but only about 10 bottles total are released at each etsy store opening.  It's intense but so worth it.

Marie Antoinette is a stunning baby blue base with hot pink-purple shimmer.  It's quite a sight to behold.  I had this on my nails for 3 days before I changed it and I stared at my nails the entire time.  Here is the Takko description of Marie Antoinette, an "aqua-tiffany blue creme with pink and violet shimmer dancing thru it."  Doesn't that make you want it more?  It's inspired by a scene in the Marie Antoinette movie - which I LOVE by the way.  I always think that if I had any celebrity friends Kirsten Dunst and I would be besties.  Ha.  The formula was smooth and pigmented enough that 2 coats provided full coverage.  I couldn't bring myself to put any glitter over this, it's that pretty.

You can purchase Marie Antoinette and other gorgeous Takko Lacquer polish at the etsy store.  Sign up for restock alerts because while most are on Friday mornings she switches things up now and then to give more people a chance to snag a bottle or 2.  Happy shopping and good luck!

Fever Lacquer Midnight In Your Shortest Skirt

This post brings another polish brand I haven't tried before!  Fever Lacquer has been around for a while now, but recently revamped shop and Casandra is putting out awesome new polishes like no ones business!  I am so glad I have tried it because now I want MORE!  Fortunately I have Pretty Little Liars and Violent Sweet as well!  Keep an eye out for post on those 2 sooner than later!  But this particular post features Midnight in Your Shortest Skirt.  Let's delve in, shall we?

MIYSS is gorgeous.  There is so much going on with this polish and it all works so well together.  The base is a sheer black - deep purple with glowing fuchsia shimmer.  As if that wasn't pretty enough on it's own there are fine holo bars for even more bling!  Get this on your nails like yesterday, wiggle those babies around and watch the rainbows play on your nails!  It's an awesome sight!  The formula of MIYSS was really nice, not too thick or thin.  The polish spread easily on the nails and I got plenty of holo bars out with each brush dip.  The bars lay completely flat.  I used 1 layer of topcoat for glossy shine.  The very last picture you will see in this set was taken with my iPhone.  I felt it showed the purple shimmer best and wanted to include it in this post so you'd have a better idea of the true colors in this polish.

You can purchase Midnight in Your Shortest Skirt at the Wishful Bath & Beauty store, which sells Fever Lacquer polishes and gorgeous mineral eyeshadows!  You can also follow the Facebook page for product updates.
