Girly Nails with Lynnderella My Little Unicorn & NailNation 3000 AmazeBallz

Good morning lovelies!  I have a unicorn in my life!  I'm talking about a Lynnderella unicorn of course!  And what a pretty little glitter bomb she is.  This unicorn came with a little baggie of silver/copper unicorn glitters, but I didn't use any of them this time around.  As a side thought about Lynnderella - she just posted her new Valentine's Day Twinset!  Head over to the blog to check out swatches!  I paired this glitter with holo - how could I not?  I used NailNation 3000 again because I was so impressed with the polish and formula!

I started this mani with 2 coats of Sinful Colors Orange Cream.  It's a very pretty pale orange with very light shimmer. I topped Orange Cream with Lynnderella My Little Unicorn.  My Little Unicorn is a Special Edition (SE) which is why you see 17/88 on the bottle.  MLU is a very dense glitter bomb in a clear base with pink micro glitter sprinkled in.  There are loads of satin blue, green, red, hot pink, light pink, purple and yellow glitters in a variety of shapes.  Loads of glitter came out with each brush dip and the glitter spread easily on my nails.  I used 1 layer of topcoat.  I also used NailNation 3000 AmazeBallz (Reform) on my thumb, ring and pinky.  Such a gorgeous fuchsia (or magenta?) color!  Formula and application were both fabulous.  I used 2 coats of AmazeBallz and 1 layer of topcoat.

Zoya Carly & OPI Pure 18K White Gold and Silver Top Coat

Good morning there!  Let's enjoy our coffee and breakfast and look at pretty polish, mmmkay?  I have a simple yet very lovely mani to share today.  Sometimes simple is better right?  I definitely think so.  I used 2 mainstream brands, Zoya and OPI.  So let's jump right in to the pictures!

I started this mani with Zoya Carly.  Carly is a gorgeous berry-purple with dense silver metallic shimmer.  Carly had amazing coverage and was thisclose to being a 1-coater!  I did end up using 2 coats for maximum richness and depth.  The formal and application were both outstanding.  I then topped Carly with OPI Pure 18K White Gold & Silver Top Coat.  This beauty is from the Mariah Carey Holiday 2013 collection.  The formula was really easy to work with.  Plenty of flakes came out and they spread smoothly on my nails.  I used 2 coats on my accent nail and I sponged it on my other nails.  Using the sponge gave a much denser look.  I finished this with 1 layer of topcoat.

NailNation 3000 SPAM!

Good morning!  I have a new to me brand to share today and I was very impressed!  NailNation 3000 specializes in holos but there are also plenty of glitter options for the glitter lovers out there.  What I find really neat about NailNation 3000 is that there are single pour batches, meaning once that color is sold out it's gone forever!  That makes the colors extra special in my opinion.  Well let's take a look at some of these fabulous colors that NailNation 3000 offers!

NailNation 3000: Shop, Facebook, Instagram

This is Beautemus Maximus.  It's a really lovely pink-orchid color that has loads of silvery shimmer and a very soft, light handed sprinkling of holo sparkle.  The formula and application were both fabulous.  Very easy to apply and went on so smoothly.  I built Beautemus Maximus up to opacity in 2 coats.   I used 1 layer of topcoat.

Awesome Sauce.  This was my ultimate favorite color from the polishes in this post.  I am a huge sucker for coral-orange colors like this.  The fact that it's neon AND linear holo only make it that much more amazing.  I actually put Awesome Sauce on my toes immediately because I liked it that much.  I used 2 coats of Awesome Sauce and it applied so smooth and rich, like butter!  I did use topcoat because it seemed to make the holo and shine even more gorgeous.

This neutral taupe/stone colored lovely is Mozelle.  I am a big fan of the natural shade holos and the color of this one really spoke to me.  But Mozelle was my problem child.  The formula was quite thick and hard to spread evenly.  It also showed a few streaky lines.  It's likely that happened because this is more of a metallic color holo.  Anywho, I used 2 coats of Mozelle and 1 layer of topcoat.

My second favorite of this post - AmazeBallz (Reform).  I can't remember what the original version of this polish looked like, but it was so popular she brought it back in a reformulated version.  It's completely amazing!  AmazeBallz is somewhere in between hot pink and magenta.  I don't care what color it is because I adore it.  It's bright and pops and has an amazing holo flame.  I used 2 coats.  Formula and application were both fantastic.  I used 1 layer of topcoat because like Awesome Sauce, the topcoat brought that holo and shine to a new level.

Pee Wee was a freebie that came with my order and I am so happy to have it!  I am the biggest sucker for red polish, and make it a holo - I'll be your bestie forever.  Pee Wee is a very pretty red-orange linear holo.  It shows mostly as red in my pictures, in my macro and in real life you can see the orange undertones.  Pee Wee was a little sheer and patchy so I used 3 coats for full coverage.  I finished with 1 layer of topcoat.

This cute little glitter polish was also a freebie with purchase.  It's called I <3 Polish Pumpkin Patch.  Yes you guessed it, it was released sometime in the Fall.  I<3PPP is a very cute micro glitter in a clear base.  You can wear it alone in a couple coats or you can use it as a topper over a base color.  I chose to wear it alone.  I<3PPP is prominently orange but there is also a rainbow of glitter colors in there as well.  I also see a very pretty shimmer that adds even more sparkle.  The glitter spread easily and evenly on my nails.  I used 3 coats and 1 layer of topcoat (next time I'll use a heavier topcoat or Gelous).

Indigo Bananas SPAM!

Good morning all!  I have another big post for you today.  Indigo Bananas is one of my favorite indie brands.  Andrea comes up with really gorgeous colors and her collections are fun.  I am itching to get my fingers on her new collection inspired by Willy Wonka (the original with Gene Wilder, not the weird new one with Johnny Depp).  But until I can get some of those I will show you the Indigo Bananas that I currently do have!

Up first I have Electric Unicorns.  Electric Unicorns is a "periwinkle blue (or a medium, leaning lavender) creme packed with pale green duochrome glass flecks that also shift a green blue."  This is a very pretty polish with lots of personality!  My pictures are showing it much more blue that lavender - the macro is closets to the actual color.  Electric Unicorns had a great formula that was fantastic to apply.  I used 3 coats for full coverage.  It did dry a bit dull so I used 1 layer of topcoat.

This beauty is A Thousand Dreams from the Endless Summer 2013 collection.  I loved this entire collection and have been slowly picking them up one at a time.  A Thousand Dreams has a pink/red base that shifts to "coral red, orange red and golden red."  I adore the color but what I love most about it is the mixed linear holo and metallic finish.  It's so fun and unique.  The metallic finish almost gives  it a frosty look, and it totally works.  The formula on A Thousand Dreams was a little thin, but it built up perfectly in 3 layers and no topcoat.

With A Spoon In It comes from the Executive Holo collection.  This is an amazing polish - the color, the holo effect, it's all fantastic.  With A Spoon In It is described as a "light brown ('late' or taupe), with two kinds of shimmer in it: a greyish brown shimmer that has a slight pink shift (giving this polish a slight pink highlight) and small amounts of gold shimmer particles throughout."  Formula and application were both great on this polish.  I used 2 layers with no topcoat for complete coverage.

This is Moonlight (Clair de lune).  Moonlight is a "super shiny, real silver flakie based polish that has purple, black and holographic microglitter in it."  Despite this being a dense glitter polish it is very smooth.  I really adore this polish and look forward to getting it's rose gold sibling, A Star To Sail By.   Moonlight was a breeze to apply, so much glitter comes out with each brush dip and it all spreads nicely on the nails.  You can use this polish on it's own or as a glitter topper.  I used 3 coats alone for full coverage and no topcoat.
