Circle Gradient & Glitter Halloween Mani
Yup, another post for the evening! I really wanted to share this one right away because not only is it Halloween art but I also used several of the Superficially Colorful Halloween collection to create the look! If you missed that post you can see the beautiful holos HERE! So I'll admit, I've been slacking on Halloween art this year. Hopefully I can squeeze a few more in, but I like simple, easy and cute. I definitely love to see all the intricate art other bloggers and nail artists put together but that's not me. I made an attempt and I will continue to try and do more. Here I have a circle gradient topped with Halloween glitter! I love how it turned out and hopefully you do too!

I started this fun mani with 3 colors from the new Superficially Colorful Halloween collection. I brushed Sweet Treat, Witch You Were Here and Ghouls Night Out on a makeup sponge. I then applied it to each an in different patterns so the nails looked different. I probably sponged the polish on 3 or 4 times before it was totally opaque. These polishes are really fabulous alone or for use in art this way. You can get the Superficially Colorful Halloween collection now.
I then topped my circle gradient with KBShimmer Kiss and Spell, a Halloween glitter topper from the 2014 collection. It's full of matte stars, hexs and circles. It's really cute and the colors are perfect for Halloween. I only used 1 coat of Kiss and Spell as the glitter payoff is really great. I really love this combo so much! I finished it up with 2 layers of topcoat.

Superficially Colorful Halloween Collection, Fall 2015
Good evening boys and ghouls! I can't believe Halloween is SO close and I haven't done any Halloween manis yet! Ugh, #failure. Well fortunately I do have a couple more Halloween themed polishes to share so I'll get my rear in gear and share those ASAP! Up first is the Superficially Colorful Halloween Collection. This launched on 10/1 so you can pick up your favorites now! The 4 piece set is $33, or you can get individuals for $9 each. If you love holiday themed polish, and holo then this is definitely a collection you will want. Jin mentioned that the Halloween collection is NOT limited edition, but since it is seasonal it won't be available all year long. I loved each color and the names are fun! The formulas are also pretty dang awesome. So let's jump in and check out these Halloween treats!

Up first I have Ghouls Night Out. I'm pretty sure all the ladies out there could use one of these just about all the time (if you're anything like me). Ghouls Night Out is a "sour bright green holographic polish with a hint of golden shimmer." I found the formula and application both fabulous. I used 2 coats and no topcoat.
Next we have Witch You Were Here. Love the name, love the color! It's a "deep dark purple holographic polish." This shade of purple is perfection (and not only for Halloween). The formula and application of Witch You Were Here were both stellar. I used 2 coats for full coverage and no topcoat.
Sweet Treat (another awesome name) is a "red leaning orange holographic polish with a jelly like finish." This one gave my camera some issues. Especially on the macro so sadly I don't have a macro for you. But the other pictures turned out alright. Ok first off this color is AMAZING. It screams pumpkins and fall and falling leaves and and and.... The formula was super creamy and opaque. Sweet Treat was almost a one coater! I did have a bit of a hard time cleaning it up, it started to turn my cuticle orange but that was the only spot where it did that. So I would definitely suggest some base coat and to take caution when painting with this one as it could possibly stain your skin. I used 2 coats of Sweet Treat and no topcoat.
Last but not least is I'm Just A Little Batty. Every good Halloween collection need a black and Jin nailed it! It's the perfect shade of black with just the right amount of holo so it's not overwhelming. I do appreciate when I can see the base color through the holo (sometimes the flame overshadows the beautiful base color). I'm Just A Little Batty had a top notch, creamy and opaque formula. Application was like butter. I only needed one coat for full coverage and no topcoat used.
I thought you'd be interested in seeing some of the other products Jin has been working on! Handmade soap AND mani bombs! They both smell amazing and I have them set aside to use on a night that I need some ultimate pampering. I will definitely share my thoughts and more pictures with you once I try them out. In the meantime, keep your eyeballs peeled for when she starts stocking these fab hand/body care items in her shop!

Supeficially Colorful Life On Pandora Summer Collection
Good afternoon lovelies! I have a very stunning and fun collection to share with you today! Jin, the beautiful lady behind Superficially Colorful has worked her fingers to the bone creating Life on Pandora, a neon holo collection for the late summer inspired by Avatar. The 7 colors are amazing and I also appreciate that she is releasing them towards the middle to end of summer because I am always a little sad when summer comes to an end, but this polish set will help me hang on to the memories of fun day trips and the sweltering heat! Life On Pandora is also a black light reactive set, alas I have no black light so I can't show you pictures of them glowing. The Life On Pandora neon holos will be available on 8/1 at 3:00 EDT! So enough jabbering, I know you want to see all the individual polishes in the Life On Pandora collection....here we go!

Superficially Colorful: Website/Blog/Shop, Facebook
I had to grab the pink first...love hot pink so much and Atokirina is absolutely stunning! Atokirina is a "bright holographic pink polish that represents the sacred seeds of the Tree of Souls that lives on Pandora. Atokirina is the Na'vi word for wood sprite. A Very pure and sacred spirit that represents the planet's life force." The formula and application of Atokirina were both fabulous. I used 3 thin coats and found that it dried to a slightly satin finish so I used 1 layer of topcoat.
Menari means eyes. Inspired by the "big yellow eyes of the Omaticaya people of Pandora" Menari is a bright neon hello polish with just the slightest touch of green. I love Menari, it's a gorgeous color and so fun to wear! Formula and application were both awesome. I used 3 thin coats and 1 layer of topcoat.
Omaticaya (can I just say wow!?) mean s"Blue Flute Clan." Omaticaya is a bright cobalt blue holo that is inspired by the "nationality of the people living on Pandora." This color is so rich and beautiful, I am drooling over my own pictures. I used 3 thin coats of Omaticaya and even though it dried shiny on it's own I added 1 layer of topcoat.
Toruk Matko is a fabulously bright neon orange holo inspired by "the brave rider of the Toruk - great red-orange leonopteryx." This is totally another WOW color for me because I really love orange, a lot. Toruk Matko had a fabulous formula and application was awesome. I used 3 thin coats of Toruk Matko and 1 layer of topcoat.
This neon apple green beauty is The Sacred Tsaheylu. This brighter than bright color is inspired by the magical connection the people of Pandora have with nature. The meaning of the word Tsaheylu in Na'vi language is bond." Par to the course, The Sacred Tsaheylu had a great formula and awesome application. I used 3 thin coats of The Sacred Tsaheylu and 1 layer of topcoat.
Tsahik might be my favorite of the Life On Pandora collection. I mean I guess if I had to pick just 1, Tsahik would be it. I can not resist any red, orange or blend of the 2 colors together and this "bright holographic red-orange polish" is just amazing! Inspired by "Mo'at - the Tsahik o the Omaticaya clan. The Tsahik is the spiritual leader of the Na'vi clan and the most important female member." This amazing color had a great formula and I had full coverage in 3 thin coats. I finished with 1 layer of topcoat.
My intuition tells me that Utral Aymokriya will be the big seller of the Life On Pandora collection. This purple holo with red undertones is pretty darn amazing and a very stunning color. Utral Aymokriya means "Tree of Voices" and is inspired by "the special tree where the Omaticaya people can hear the voices of their ancestors." Utral Aymokriya was very opaque and rich. I used 2 thin coats and 1 layer of topcoat to finish.
I decided to do a little art with the Life On Pandora collection and this neon waterfall mani popped up in my mind. I may have subconsciously been inspired by Ashley Is PolishAddicted's waterfall mani almost a year ago! Hey, when you like something that much it really does stick in your mind! You can see her waterfall mani HERE! For my mani I used 3 coats of OPI Alpine Snow and then a small brush to create downward lines using each neon from the Life On Pandora collection. I had no rhyme or reason, just put the colors on my nails where ever there was space. I should have used a thinner brush for this, but I still like the way it turned out. My "waterfall" looks more like a tribal tattoo - which is more fitting for Life On Pandora in my opinion. I finished with a layer of topcoat.
