Born Pretty Store Shining Diamond Stamping Plate

Good evening beauties!  I have a few posts that I've been sitting on for a while so I need to get them shared.  Today has been an email sending, Internet browsing, bill paying, but parked on the couch, mindless tv on all day kind of day.  I literally need 1 day a week like this because I'm always so tired from soccer, running, taking the kids places, taxi-moming, cleaning.  While I wait for the husband to get home so we can have dinner I decided to continue the couch potato productivity.  I've got some pretty diamond stamping to share with you!  This is the shining diamond design image plate, which for some reason I can't find on the site.  But I do see another plate with similar images.  Anywho, you can pick up the other diamond plate HERE for $1.59.  Let's check out the pictures!

Orly Passion Fruit, Lynnderella S.W.A.K. + Sea Lore Arista

I know I did a huge post full of beautiful Valentine's polish, but I thought I'd share what I actually wore out that night.  I decided I wanted something bright, neon, pink, glittery, in your face.  So the world would know I LOVE love!  So I chose the following polishes.  Orly Passion Fruit, Lynnderella S.W.A.K. and Sea Lore Arista.

I started with 2 coats of Orly Passion Fruit.  I picked this polish up at Sally's during the "spend $3, get a free Orly" deal.  Passion Fruit is a super bright neon pink-salmon hybrid color.  The formula was nice to work with, no application problems.  It was slightly sheer and dried to a a rubber-esque finish.  I then used Sea Lore Arista on my accent nail so as to make one nail a slightly different color than the rest.  Arista is a beautiful red and magenta glitter polish.  The glitter came out easily and in abundance.  All the glitter layed flat on my nail.  I then used 2 coats of Lynnderella S.W.A.K. on all my nails.  S.W.A.K. is a very busy polish full of hearts, diamonds, squares and hexs.  There is also a very strong pink shimmer.  I was able to get a great variety of glitter out of the bottle with no digging.  All the glitter layed flat on my nails.  I used 1 layer of topcoat to smooth it all out.

In real life my nails were much brighter neon.  What do you think of my date night Valentine nails?  Orly is available at just about every beauty supply store, Lynnderella is available on ebay, and Sea Lore is available at Sealore.net.

Lynnderella Spumoni + Cliche Cancun

I put on Lynnderella Spumoni and immediately wanted to go to the Old Spaghetti Factory for spaghetti with mizithra cheese and spumoni ice cream.  I love it for dessert and I love it on my nails!

I started with 2 coats of Cliche Cancun.  Cancun was a gift from my friend at Miminhos Que Eu Gosto, thank you Dulce!  It's a gorgeous light mint green colored creme polish.  I used 2 coats for nice coverage...and the perfectly matched undies for Spumoni.  Spumoni was released with the Season's Glitterings collection and though it was put out as a holiday color, I think it's fun for any time for the year.  Spumoni is described as "full of frosty mint and white satin glitters as well as a sprinkle of red, pink and black in a translucent mint base.  I specifically saw diamonds, squares and hex shaped glitters.  Application was really good - lots of glitter came out with each brush dip and they spread well on the nails.  I finished it off with a layer of topcoat.

You can purchase Lynnderellas on ebay.
