Good morning! I have a nail related post for you today and I hope you enjoy it! KBShimmer released their Fall 2015 collection last week (you can see my post HERE) as well as a restock of Mani Shots! I have a Mani Shot and Cuticle Oil in Chai Tea to share with you today. I do enjoy the scent (and flavor) of a good cup of chai tea so I knew I'd be a fan of this scent. KBShimmer has Mani Shot available in a variety of scents for $1.95 each. You can also pick up Cuticle Oil Pens for $6 each. So let's jump in and see what these products are like!

KBShimmer makes many products to go along with their polish. 2 of which are the Mani Shot and Cuticle Oil Pens.
The Mani Shots come in a small plastic cup, about the size of a shot glass. The actual product is densely packed into the cup.
The "shot" didn't come out easily. I had to push on the bottom of the cup until the plastic broke. Then the shot slid out.
The shot fizzled up immediately and was completely dissolved within about 2 minutes. The scent was a bit spicy, like chai tea is, but it was also quite light. I didn't notice it while sitting there soaking my hands, I had to put my nose closer to the bowl to get a good whiff.
I soaked my hands for 10 minutes. I found the Mani Shot more on the light moisturizing side compared to other similar products I have tried. The oils sunk into my hands/fingers quickly and didn't leave behind any slimy or sticky residue. Because the actual Mani Shot had a light scent, it was also very faint on my hands.
The Chai Tea scented cuticle oil comes in an easy to use click pen. just a few clicks to get the oil out on to the brush. Couldn't be more simple to use or toss in your purse for use through out the day.
I found the Chai Tea Cuticle Oil Pen more strongly scented than the Mani Shot and I could it slightly spicy and warm, a great Fall scent. It was easy to apply to cuticles and rubbed in well to fully moisturize my fingers/nails. Any leftover oil absorbed quickly.
So there it is! Have you tried Mani Shots or Cuticle Oil Pens? What's your favorite scent?
