KBShimmer; The Road To Polish Con New Orleans 2019 exclusive; Beignet Done That

Happy Fri-Yay y'all!  Hope you have a great day planned and an even better weekend.  I'm going to be racing tomorrow!  My first real race since I've had the baby.  I don't expect anything other than to try to run as much as I can of the 5K.  It's a mellow hilly, trail-ish course so pushing the stroller on it should be interesting.  Other than that, just hanging at home and enjoying the chill weekend while I can (until Spring soccer starts up and my calendar is full of soccer games).  So unless you are living under a rock you know that Polish Con is coming up in April.  You also know that it's in New Orleans.  I am seriously trying to figure out if I can go, even if it's just me and the baby alone!  I just want to go to NOLA, any excuse works for me!  So right now I am super jelly of all of you that already have a ticket.  Leading up to Polish Con there is this cool thing called Road to Polish Con and all the makers attending will have a special posh available for all of us sad souls that can't go to the actual event.  How cool is that?!  KBShimmer has a fabulous polish that just screams Mardi Gras to me, called Beignet Done That.  It will be available until 2/3, $10, no cap.

February 2019 Polish Pickup & Indie Pickup, Duos and Pairs

Good afternoon!  Next week brings us the February Polish Pickup!  I swear that came up on us so fast, I feel like I just swatched the January ones!  The theme for February is Duos and Pairs and that covers a lot of ground, I've seen food pairings, movies duos, celestial & lunar inspiration, cartoons...and it's really fun that many makers paired up for this month.  I'm going to lay this out like I did January, all in one post so they are easy to find.  I will share pertinent maker info in each section.  The February Polish Pickup will be open from 2/1 - 2/4.  Now let's jump in!

Zoya: Jubilee Collection, Holiday 2018

Hello, happy Saturday!  This post is long overdue as it is the Zoya Holiday collection.  Holiday time for me is usually really hectic and on top of that my family grew.  I also took a look at this collection and it didn't really scream holiday to me anyways so I decided that sharing it any time during the Winter would suffice.  And Zoya is currently having a "get 4 FREE" deal and all you need to do is pay the shipping.  Use code Hue19 and see more info for the deal HERE.  So really, I helped save you money if you wanted any of these and waited until now to buy.  You're welcome. Now let's jump on in to the post and check out the lovely 12-piece collection that is Jubilee!  Oh, these up for $10 each or pre-selected 6 piece sets for $60 without the deal.

Alter Ego: January Polish of the Month, Life's A Beach

Good morning dears!  I'm just going to take Monday nice and easy, if that means taking a nap and lounging with the baby all morning, so be it!  Especially since it's forecasted to rain pretty much all day - and not a light mist, a good steady rain. But I can at least work on the last few swatches I need to do to be 100% caught up AND share a post with you. Cynthia comes up with great polishes for her fan group and January is no exception.  Today I have Alter Ego's January Polish of the Month, Life's A Beach.  This beautifully cheerful polish is available now and is $9.50.  The price goes up to $10 soon (tomorrow, I believe .  And don't forget you can save 20% using my code My Nail Polish Obsession.  Now let's check out Life's A Beach.

Dreamland Lacquer; Star Crossed Lovers, Valentine's 2019

Good evening!  How was your weekend?  Mine was pretty nice, no rushing around, no real "things" going on.  I went for a long walk with my mom and then to brunch for her birthday.  It was nice.  Now I'm chillaxing at home.  So I figured I'd get a post going on while I'm all relaxed and zen - sending you those vibes while you read.

Let's jump in to the post featuring the brand spanking new Dreamland Lacquer collection, Star-Crossed Lovers/Valentines 2019 collection.  4 of Noelie's favorite pairs of star-crossed lovers are honored in this collection.  Star-Crossed Lovers will be available 1/18 at 2pm  for a 48 hour pre-order window.  They'll be $10 each or $40 for the full set.  After the pre-order they will be $11 each.  You'll also be able to purchase the St. Nick trio and Tornado Skies II at this time.  So let's check out the polish!

Zoya: Winter Holos

This is gearing up to be a late night post!  Finally got myself all cleaned up and ready for bed.  I tried out my new microdermabrasion tool and think I rubbed too hard in one spot because it's a little achey and stings when I touch it, like I literally rubbed the skin right off.  Ooops!  First time using it, but now I'll know better.  Seems like a great way to slough off dead skin in the cold winter months and I feel like it works because the rest of my face feels nice and smooth.  Anther way to stay fresh looking in the Winter is to wear bright nail polish colors!  Zoya recently came out with their Winter Holo trio and it's 3 lovely scattered holos in fun, non-wintry colors.  You can purchase the Winter Holos now, individually for $10 or as a set for $30.  Pssst, Zoya is also running a promo!  New Year, New Hue.  4 colors for free, you only pay shipping ($15).  Use the code Hue19.  Maybe you can get these 3 beauties!

Sally Hansen X Crayola Insta-Dri: Glam Rock Collection

Good afternoon!  How's your Thursday?  I have a sick kiddo at home again today.  So I really did a lot of nothing.  I've kept the 3 of us feed and warm, I got the other 2 off to school on time, so I guess I'll call today a win!  I am really hoping to get out for a walk or run this evening so fingers crossed today isn't an entire wash.  I did make strides with swatching polish yesterday so that was great too!  Today I have a really fun collection to share with you.  I'm sure you remember the adorable Salt Hansen X Crayola collection that came out last Spring...a set of pretty cremes inspired by crayon colors.  Well the duo put their heads together again and came out with the Glam Rock Collection!  This collection is packed full of 12 metallic shades in the Insta-Dry finish.  I am 100% on board with this collection from the packaging to the presentation to the colors to the polishes!  Win win win.  You should be able to find these shades at your local drug store.  They should be about $5 each.  I am not sure about the packaging - if it's available or if it was just for promotional use.  But now I have to admit I am smitten with the Crayola shades and am hunting Amazon and Ebay for the older ones.  Ok ok, but I should finish the post first!  Let's jump in!

Evening friends!  I hope your Tuesday was better than my babe's.  He got shots this morning and the poor fella wanted to be in my arms all day long.  So let me just say that along with a cranky baby is an exhausted mama (= also cranky).  It's 6:50pm and I'm about to call it a night.  But before I drag myself to bed I wanted to share the stunning Constellation Trio from Stella Chroma.  This released on Black Friday so you've probably seen it already.  But if not, it's Pam's first magnetic collection!  The Constellation Trio sell individually for $12 each.  Don't forget you can save 15% using my code MNPO.  Let's jump in to the post so I can go to bed!

January 2019 Polish Pickup & Indie Pickup, Mythology

Hello!  Happy New Year!  2019, I have big personal plans for you...getting my pre-baby body back, getting back to the fitness level I was at, back to the gym, better eating habits, decluttering my life, and basically just finding a family/self balance.  So what type of resolution(s) do you have for yourself?

Since it's January, it means the new PPU an IPU is here! Both will be open from 1/4 - 1/7 and have loads of great stuff.  The theme for the month is Mythology.  I've always loved Mythology and it was one of my favorite topics in History classes.  But this month I am doing things differently, instead of individual posts for each polish or item I have to review I am going to put them all in 1 giant post.  I feel it will be easier for you to find and keep track of items you want to earmark for later.  Let me know in the comments if you prefer 1 big post or several individual posts.

This is a pretty big post, lots of pictures...so grab your coffee and let's jump in!
