Beauty Review: Ittse Cosmetics - The Polo Fields Makeup Collection

Good evening!  I have a makeup review for you and I am really excited about it!  I had heard of Ittse back in the Summer of 2015 because they were at CosmoProf.  Sadly I missed their booth.  But this past July I made sure to stop by and hear about their brand.  Their displays were so beautiful I was immediately smitten.  I know I'm a nail polish junkie but I like makeup as much as the next beauty blogger so I was very excited to head home with the extremely generous gift package they gave me.  So basically Itsse takes the makeup palette and makes it completely customizable for the consumer.  You purchase a case, and "coins" of eyeshadow, blush, highlighter, lipstick and you create your own look.  You can also buy curated looks which set you up with all you need for a complete kit.  Curated sets are about $80 while individual coins start at $8.  Let's jump in and I'll tell you more about the brand before I show you my swatches.

Beauty Review: Hard Candy Trolls Prismatic Luminizer

Good morning again lovelies.  I think I mentioned that I was in new York for Thanksgiving.  One of my best friends lives there and I got to spend time hanging out with her.  It was awesome!  She had a little gift for me, something that she knew I was looking for!  I'm so excited to own the Hard Candy Trolls Prismatic Luminizer!  It's a rainbow highlighter and it's so much fun!  Naomi and I both wore it the other day and felt very pretty walking about with rainbow cheeks.  The Prismatic Luminizer, as well as the other Trolls cosmetics are only available at Walmart.  And not even online because I checked.  And now I'm in desperate need of the Marbleized Lipstick and Color Change Lip Gloss and Mood Lip Balm.  Yeah, I need it all.  Anyways, hit up your local Walmart and keep your fingers crossed this stuff is available!

Darling Diva Polish: Pokemon Go Collection

Ok I know it's Thanksgiving, and I have had a busy day already.  But I've got a responsibility to you all, my readers, to go into Black Friday ready to make informed decisions.  Along with some amazing polishes made just for the occasion, there are also plenty of other collections still available including this one...the Pokemon Go Collection!  I'll admit that I'm not into it.  But I do know the basics about Pokemon because my brother watched it when he was little.  My oldest son tries to tell me about it but I get that glazed over eye look and my ears just don't register anything he's saying.  But if you wanted to just talk about these polishes you have my undivided attention.  Pokemon Go is a set of 6 polishes, pastel shades, ultra chrome flakies and a sparkly holo flakie topper.  Awesome!

Let me tell you about Black Friday deals.  All the LE's created for the days sale are doorbuster deals.  They will be $6.50 each.  There will also be a 30% off sale, including products in the sale section.  Sale starts at 5pm Central on 11/24.

So with that all taken care of, let's check out the Pokemon Go Collection!

Girly Bits Cosmetics, Codename: Duchess

Good morning again!  It's almost Thanksgiving!  Are you ready?  Did you get your groceries, travel to where you need to be, decorate your house to look like Christmas?  I did none of that this year because we decided to have Thanksgiving across the country in New York.  But we will be spending the evening with family members (extended ones that I don't know so well, but it'll be fun and delicious!).  Anywho, I'm back with more polish that launch soon!  Girly Bits has this gorgeous collection called Codename: Duchess.  It's inspired by Archer and from the feedback I was getting while helping people shop at The Indie Event, this is a very good thing.  I don't know what this tv show is but I gather it's about spies.  Codename Duchess is a set of 7 duochrome-y shimmers that will be available on 11/24 at 12 noon EST.  Polishes will be $16.50 CAD each.  During the first two weeks if you purchase the entire collection for $108.50 (a savings of $1 per bottle).  Ok let's jump in and hear about each individual polish!

The Indie Shop Event Coverage

Good morning dolls!  This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending The Indie Shop event in the Los Angeles area.  I was very excited, not sure what to expect since the last mini convention I went to was in the evening and I was primarily a shopper/media.  This time I got to stand behind the Girly Bits booth helping answer questions, find products, process orders and bag up goodies.  It was so much fun and I loved getting to spend so much time with Pam and Tara.  Ok so the actual event.  The Indie Shop was held in a lovely event room in a Double Tree hotel.  It was spacious and bright with plenty of windows.  Perfect for actually being able the products being displayed.  There were 18 vendors with a variety of products; nail polish, nail art supplies and hand/bath care.  I was able to mosey around prior to the doors opening to take pictures of the tables and then again for a short while to do some shopping.  So let's jumping and I'll show you some of the stuff I saw.

Here are all the lovely vendors in a photo op before the doors opened at 10am for the VIPs!

Parallax Polish Stat-ick-tics Collection

Afternoon y'all!  Hope you are enjoying your Friday evening!  I am going over to a friends house for a huge mom get together/jewelry party.  There will be wine and snacks and laughs and money spent.  After this week I could definitely use it.  Before I get myself all dolled up I wanted to share a new collection from Parallax Polish.  Due to a move and settling in to new jobs Parallax Polish has been quiet on the nail polish scene.  But I am happy to announce that she's back with gusto!  Stat-ick-tics was inspired by events that occurred in Erin's area of research (statistics) and the class she teaches.  Power, alpha and beta are all things her class deals with, including trials and errors to come up with the correct answers for research projects.  The new Stat-ick-tics Collection is pretty awesome and full of Fall perfection.  This collection will be available soon so keep your eyes open for an announcement on the Facebook page.  Now let's jump in and check out the polish!

Morning again!  I have more Girly Bits to share with you.  But today's post showcases polishes made for The Indie Shop nail polish event in Torrance, CA this weekend.  I'm happy to say that I get to attend this one and actually will be helping out at the Girly Bits booth!  So if you're going stop by to chat with me and Pam.  Alright, so 2 of these are limited edition and will be available later (don't quote me on that) and one is an event exclusive.  If you've seen any of the swatches of the brands/polishes that will be there you probably noticed there's a French theme.  I'm totally cool with that because I love France.  So I think it's pretty obvious that I'm excited about Saturday.  For now let's jump in to the post and check out these stunning Girly Bits!

Girly Bits Cosmetics: Limited Edition November 2016 Colour of the Month Duo, Every Day I'm Truffling & The Fuchsia Is Ours

Good morning again!  I dread Thursday.  It's my busiest day of the week.  I end up sitting in the car for at least 3 hours shuttling my kids around from practice to practice and don't get home until almost 8pm.  Thank goodness it's the last time I have to do the soccer rush for a while.  Fall sports season is finally winding down, yay!  But the Fall polish season is still in full swing.  This morning I have the Girly Bits November Colour Of The Month Duo to show you.  They're both gorgeous shades that play well together.  The November COTM Duo will be available in 2 rounds, the first from 11/6 - 11/10.  The early bird round saves you $2 making the duo $31.  The 2nd round starts on 11/24 and polish will be remaining stock...once it runs out it's gone for good.  Be sure to set your alarms because you don't want to miss out on either of these!

Indie Spotlight: 6 Harts

Morning beauties!  I'll have a couple posts coming at you today but let's start with this one.  I'm in a new Facebook group that spotlights one indie maker a month!  So I'll have some links to other bloggers featuring the same brand at the bottom of my post, please be sure to check them out.  6 Harts has the honor of being the first showcased indie and I pulled out my favorite, Midnight Delight.  I have a good stash of 6 Harts and they are all very lovely.  Some of my other favorites are Not Taupical, Carnal Intent and Bat Crap Crazy.  Courtney makes small batches and puts thought into her colors and finishes.  They all build up well in 2-3 coats.  I'd also like to recommend her cuticle oils, which are lightly scented (great for those who are sensitive to strong smells) and very nourishing. If you haven't tired this brand out you definitely should!

Bitter Lace Beauty Highlighters; Slay and Hocus Pocus

Yes I know Halloween is behind us, but it doesn't mean I can't still use gorgeous Halloween themed makeup.  I still like to be shimmery, sparkly and pretty all year long.  So I'll go to these highlighters whenever I feel the need for a little extra glowy.  I picked these up from Bitter Lace Beauty.  One day I was playing around on Instagram, clicking on accounts to check new-to-me things out led me to this amazing makeup brand.  I was immediately hooked.  And there were all these stunning Halloween highlighters.  Yeah, I was a goner.  I had to get some so I picked the 2 that spoke to me most; Slay and Hocus Pocus.  It looks like all the LE Halloween highlighters have been taken down now, but by browsing the sold items it's clear Bitter Lace Beauty specializes in LE highlighters.  I paid $28 each for these so I'd guesstimate any future collection will be the same price point.  I'd suggest following the Instagram account to see what's coming next...and can I just say I am eagerly anticipating the holiday ones!?  I bet they'll be amazing!
