LeChat Dare to Wear: Veiled Secrets, Winter 2019

Makeup Review: Younique, November Kudos

Evening!  It was wet out today!  My boys both had to play soccer in the rain, I remember how much fun that was but I also remember how freezing cold I'd be afterward. Good thing they both had dry clothes to change in to on the way home!  Anywho...tonight I have more fun makeup to share with you.  I've tried several products from Younique in the past and there are a few things I buy consistently - like mascara.  Well, after purchasing the November Kudos I have a new favorite product that will be repurchased several times over!  The monthly Kudos is a bundle of products that go together and you get them for a slight discount. I liked that I was able to select the color of each product in the Kudos so I wasn't stuck with 2 awesome, skin tone complimentary products and one that made no sense.  The November Kudos is gone now but you can get the December Kudos or any of the products here (minus the purple mascara), individually.  PS - you should check out the December Kudos, it has a magical silver metallic liquid eyeliner...me wants!  Well, let's check out the November Kudos!

Just going through drafts of old posts that I didn't have time to put up and I saw this one.  I felt like I really just wanted to share it so I'm back with another post for ya!  This is KBShimmer Hard To Empress.  This came out back in June when Polish Con was in New York.  It was a show exclusive that ended up on the KBShimmer website for a brief time, but because of the  ingredients used (UP pigment) it was very LE.  I have no idear if it will come back but for the sake of clearing out my drafts I am sharing it with you today.  Sorry for being a tease.

Evening!  It was so nice to have the afternoon off from shutting the kids around.  My daughter ended up at a birthday party at the local park so the boys and I rode our bikes over to join them and have fun watching all the games.  I haven't been to a party with old fashioned games in a long time!  There were sack races, limbo, wheelbarrow races and 3-legged races.  The kids had so much fun, I'll have to remember those games in the future.  Well I just ate and am heading out to make a pumpkin shirt for a race I'm in this Sunday, so this will be a quickie post.  Tomorrow is The Indie Shop San Antonio.  So many of you lucky nail polish lovers are going to have a fun time.  ellagee will be there with lots of goodies to show off.  One such collection is the brand new Moody Collection, a trio-color thermal set.  Now I will put the disclaimer from Laura here for you to read: Thermal pigments are fascinating and so much fun to play with. At the same time they are very sensitive to extreme temperatures. Because of the hot weather in Texas (and then to me in California) my press samples were damaged during shipping. I didn't want them to arrive to customers as anything less than intended so I've decided to make them exclusive to the San Antonio Indie Shop, where they'll be available with their full thermal effect as shown in the swatch stick photos.  I did indeed receive polishes that are affected by the heat so only a few showed transition and I only saw 2 colors at best.  With that said, this collection will be exclusive to TIS San Antonio and leftovers will make their way to the website for online shopping.  The Moody Collection will be $12 for individuals and $50 for the set.  Let's check out the polish!

Afternoon beauties!  Hope your hump day is going well (or went well).  I like to volunteer at the kids schools and today was my first time volunteering as lunch yard duty at the middle school.  I felt like such a dork wearing that neon vest walking around with my walkie talkie.  I saw lots of kids I know but none of them wanted anything to do with me - UGH how mortifying!, a parent I know!  Haha.  I even saw my son, well, the back of his head.  He must have eaten lunch faster than usual because it was legit only 3 minutes then he disappeared. I know he saw me and skedaddled out of the quad.  Anyways, it was hot out there.  I can't believe it's Fall because it doesn't feel like it.  I want to feel that chill in the air, especially as we roll up to Halloween.  But I guess if I can't have that crisp Autumn air I'll settle for an amazing Halloween trio.
