Zoya; Jelly Brites

Good morning!  The sis a super lazy Saturday because I am still in pajamas and on the couch watch the World Cup.  The Portugal/Uruguay game is just about to get started and I think it's going to be a really good game.  Who are you rooting for?  I'm Portugal all the way!  So while I sit here being my lazy self I figured it was a nice opportunity to to share a quickie post with you.  Zoya recently released the Jelly Brites collection, a trio of pretty jellies for some juicy Summer nails!  You'll be able to purchase these for $10 each or $30 for the set.  Let's go ahead and get started with the review!

Zoya Kisses Collection

Evening dears!  I am working on this post, mainly because I am avoiding the ever growing laundry pile that needs to be folded.  I swear the laundry is a chore that never, ever ends.  I maybe get 1 day where I don't have to think about it because I have literally washed every single article of clothing/bedding/towel in the house.  And can you believe January is almost over?!  I was just thinking about that and how it's almost Valentine's Day!  I have some perfect polishes for the Hallmark holiday to show you tonight.  The Zoya Kisses Collection consists of 3 pastel jellies and a color shifty topper!  Yup, perfect for some sweetheart nails.  The Zoya Kisses are available now and you have a few purchasing options; individual bottles are $10, the trio of jellies is $30 or the quad with the topper is $40.  Let's jump in and check them out!

Orly; Meet Me At Mullholland & Breathables Nourishing Nude & Beauty Essential

Good morning dears!  How's your Tuesday treating you?  I feel like I got absolutely nothing done because I went on a field trip with Naomi.  So today I have to take her to a doctors appointment and rush to the grocery store after.  I have a feeling house chores will get put off for yet another day.  It's killing me how I can't seem to keep anything clean these days.  But one thing I can keep up with is sharing polish with you.  Today I have some nice Orly's to share with you.  One from the Fall 2016 Mulholland Collection and two from the new Breathables line.  You can buy Orly polish and Breathables now for around $9 each. Let's jump in and check out the polish!

Alter Ego Body Care Products Secret Lover

Good morning or is it afternoon?  I'm lost at what time of the day it is.  I spent the whole night jumping out of bed and helping my little to the bathroom.  She must have picked up a stomach bug from school earlier this week.  Hopefully it's just the 24 hour kind because we could both use some rest.  So I'll be playing nurse today and then running out for some soup.  I suppose a good thing is that it made me actually sit down and just take it easy.  So I'll be working on my blog and swatches and watermarking and editing and and and...  What better way to get that plan started than with a post!  Today I have a lovely polish from Alter Ego Body Care Products called Secret Lover!  Secret Lover is currently in stock and you can pick up a full size bottle for $9.  Cynthia has also expanded her brand to include body care products; soap, solid balm (for cuticle care and other uses) and men's fragrances!  You should definitely check out the new line up!

Colors by Llarowe: Jelly Finish Lineup

Howdy, hope your day is going well!  I have a lot of jellies from Colors by Llarowe to show you today.  They are each very pretty and true to jelly form - sheer and squishy.  Only 1 of the group I have in this post built up to opacity on it's own.  I don't really mind visible nail line, but if you do these probably aren't for you.  I'm not certain if all of these are currently available but you can purchases a large variety of Colors by Llarowe in an assortment of finishes on the Llarowe website.  You can follow Llarowe on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

This is Yen, a hot pink jelly with iridescent flakies and shimmer.  The larger flakie pieces are sparse but the shimmer makes up for it.  I used 3 layers and no topcoat.  The jelly finish on this was lovely,  squishy and easy to use.

Evey Yen has a Yang.  Yang is a grape purple jelly with iridescent glitters.  The coverage on Yang was a little more opaque than Yen, but since it's a jelly it didn't build up to complete coverage.  I used 3 coats and no topcoat.

This blue jelly fellow is Paradise Found from the Beauty of Nature collection.  It's an "ocean blue jelly with sapphire sparkle and lilac sheen."  It's very lovely.  It had a really squishy formula and the shine is great.  The shimmer/sheen really stands out in this one.  I used 3 layers and no topcoat.

Montana Sky is another jelly from the Beauty of Nature collection.  It's a "royal blue jelly with blue shimmer and iridescent glitters."  I loved the deep blue color on this one.  The smattering of glitter and shimmer really make for a lovely combination.  This one had a nice formula and was one of the more opaque jellies of this bunch.  I used 2 layers and no topcoat.

And last but not least, my favorite of the polish in this post is Bluebonnets.  Bluebonnets is from the Deep in the Heart of Texas Collection.  I don't believe it's available any more but it was a limited edition charity polish to raise money for the victims of the tornado in Granbury in the Spring of this year.  It's described as a "deep royal blue jelly with pink shimmer and iridescent glitters."  Coverage and formula were both heat.  I used 2 layers and no topcoat.

Hillbilly Love Lacquer Bluegrass

Good morning!  Today I'm happy to share another Hillbilly Love Lacquer with you.  This one is called Bluegrass.  Bluegrass is an electric blue tinted base filled with a mixture of different shades of blue glitter and a smattering of holo hexs.  It's a very pretty mixture of colors.  You can wear it alone, it would take 3-4 coats to build up the coverage though.  I chose to layer it over a base color and started this mani with 2 coats of Zoya Tallulah, a matching tone of blue.  I then used 2 coats of Bluegrass.  Bluegrass had a nice formula that was easy to work with. A good amount of glitter came out with each brush dip and it spread easily on the nail.  All the glitters lay flat.  1 layer of topcoat to finish it.  I really liked the way this mani came out - so vibrant and pretty.  It will make for a nice bright summer set with the electric hue and glowing shimmer.  And because I'm a product of my generation, this color reminds me of Debbie Gibson, don't ask why, it just does.

You can purchase Hillbilly Love Lacquer Bluegrass and other lovely polish creations in the etsy shop and can follow the Facebook page for product updates.

Be sure to give me a like on Facebook too!
