Zoya Kisses Collection

Evening dears!  I am working on this post, mainly because I am avoiding the ever growing laundry pile that needs to be folded.  I swear the laundry is a chore that never, ever ends.  I maybe get 1 day where I don't have to think about it because I have literally washed every single article of clothing/bedding/towel in the house.  And can you believe January is almost over?!  I was just thinking about that and how it's almost Valentine's Day!  I have some perfect polishes for the Hallmark holiday to show you tonight.  The Zoya Kisses Collection consists of 3 pastel jellies and a color shifty topper!  Yup, perfect for some sweetheart nails.  The Zoya Kisses are available now and you have a few purchasing options; individual bottles are $10, the trio of jellies is $30 or the quad with the topper is $40.  Let's jump in and check them out!

Here's a happy group shot...

Up first I've got OH GUMBALLS!  This is a "bubblegum pink jelly with assorted iridescent glitters." This is such a (little) girly polish and it's adorable.  I actually can't wait to put it on my daughter.  The formula and application were both great, no issues to report.  I used 3 coats of OH GUMBALLS! and 1 layer of topcoat.

Here Comes the Brides (love the name) is an "ivory crelly with assorted black, purple, plum and iridescent glitters."  I liked this one much more than I expected - the light base with darker glitters work very well together.  Here Come the Brides had a fabulous formula and applied very easily.  I used 3 coats of Here Come the Brides and 1 layer of topcoat.

I'll Be Sea-ing You is a gorgeous sheer "turquoise jelly base with intense pink to lime green shimmer."  I'll admit the the pink shimmer is so strong I never noticed any green, but that doesn't bother me because this polish is so pretty!  I love the pink against the blue and that it's not subtle at all.  I used 3 coats of I'll Be Sea-ing You but I still had visible nail line.  If you want to minimize that try a 4th coat or layering over a light and similar colored base color.  I didn't use topcoat for these pictures.

Moving right along, here's Julia Roberts 1967.  Described as a "pistachio green scattered holo with silver and white shimmer."  Hullo this color is gorgeous!  I love the silvery shimmer, it's stunning.  And I didn't even know this was a scattered holo until I walked out in to the sun, imagine my pleasant surprise.  This is a spin off of a popular mainstream polish that was very hard to find up until recently.  Julia Roberts 1967 has a great formula and is easy peasy to apply.  I used 2 coats of Julia Roberts 1967 and 1 layer of topcoat.

HOLY SHIZNIT this polish is totally amazing!  Plum Crazy was definitely in the top 3 of my favorites from this collection.  Plum Crazy is a "plum holo with pink shimmer and copper flakes."  Fantastic I tell you.  I had perfect coverage in 2 coats.  I finished with 1 layer of topcoat.

The next awesome holo is That Bloo is Mine!  It's described as a "medium to deep royal blue holo with silver and blue shimmer."  That Bloo is Mine! reminds me of my favorite, comfy denim jeans.  And the best part...it's a ONE COATER!!  I reached total opaqueness in 1 layer (the masses cheered!).     That Bloo is Mine! dried a little gritty to the touch but with 1 layer of topcoat is was nice and smooth to the touch.

Dock of the Bay is another HOLY SHIZ polish in this collection.  It's a "deep magenta red intense holo multi chrome with shift to orange and purple flash."  I'm loving this jewel tone color, it's perfect for the Fall.  And guess what...we have another ONE COATER!!  I had perfect coverage in just 1 coat.  Dock of the Bay dried nicely on it's own so I didn't need to use topcoat.

I suppose I saved my favorite for last.  At Last (love that song by the way) is just absolutely stunning.  It's a "muted teal holo multi chrome with pink flash in the sun with green to purple to pink shift and red to gold shimmer in the shade."  Trust me when I say it's all that and 100% amazing - you need to see it for yourself though!  The color shift is so lovely, nice deep colors, vampy enough.  I just want to wear it forever.  The formula and application of At Last were both spot on.  I used 2 coats of At Last and 1 layer of topcoat.
