Joy Lacquer; Crocodile Tears & Enchanted Pixie

Morning lovelies.  Hope your Thursday is going well so far.  It's almost Friday...hang in there!  My Friday will be crazy.  Teacher In-Service day so the little monsters will be with me.  Hehe.  I actually have plans to hit up the doctors office for flu shots and then I'll take them to the the pumpkin patch.  But to bring us back to today's post, I have another new to e brand to share, Joy Lacquer.  Joy is another maker I was happy to meet at Cocktails & Colors.  She was lovely to talk to, and she's got some fabulous products (you NEED to check out that Gummy Bear Soap..it's everything!).  I have 2 beautiful polishes to share with you...Crocodile Tears and Enchanted Pixie.  They're both listed in the shop right now but only Crocodile Tears is available.  Let's jump in and check them out!

This is Enchanted Pixie.  It's a periwinkle polish with a pink pearly sheen, holo pink and purple micro glitter.  This polish totally reminds me of a pretty little pixie!  I love the shade, I think it leans a bit more purple than periwinkle to me.  And the little holo glitters are the perfect touch.  The formula was a little sticky but I didn't have any problems getting an even and smooth application.  I used 2 coats for full coverage and topcoat for a smooth, shiny finish.

This is Crocodile Tears.  It's an iridescent glitter topcoat full of turquoise, aqua and emerald green shades.  There's also a nice pearly sheen.  While I do realize this is a topcoat I wanted to show it on it's own so you could really see it.  I think it looks beautiful this way, ethereal and luminous.  You could easily wear Crocodile Tears over a light or dark base color for a different look.  The formula and application were both lovely.  No issues to report.  I used 3 coats and topcoat to finish.
