Good day to you.  And happy middle of the week.  Still on the back to school countdown.  1 week to go and Dobby is FREEEEEEE!  I think I am more nervous than excited this year because 2 of my kids are starting a new school.  I know they'll be fine though.  I changed schools a few times as a kid and my husband did a lot.  I mean A LOT.  And he was totally fine too.  Just my being a mom, hoping they make friends, have someone to sit with at lunch. Hullo friends!  Happy Friday eve. I'm just sitting here, feeding my babe, watching tv, thinking about starting dinner. Envy Lacquer; Very Important Mermaid

Hullo again!  Keeping up with my plan to get all my drafts out of my que, I have another oldie post to share with you today!  Another beautiful polish from The Indie Shop held in San Francisco back in July 2017.  Swatching these polishes and looking a them again makes me so bummed that NorCal gets the shaft with all the nail polish conventions.  San Francisco is a huge city, as are most cities in the Bay Area.  There are plenty of other things to do here once the convention is over.  But I guess we get no love so don't mind me, I'll just go kick rocks.  Anywho, Envy is the brand that organizes TIS and usually has a few show exclusives for sale, Very Important Mermaid was one of those for the San Fran event.  Of course, this is no longer available but I wold highly suggest you keep watch on the upcoming TIS events and especially the event exclusive products - they are always lovely!

Dreamland Lacquer November Polish Pickup Exclusive: Queen of the Iceni

Evening dears!  This Friday is the September Polish Pickup so I'll be sharing the remainder of what I swatched up until then!  But can we talk about how epic the theme for this month is?!  Horror Movies!  Gah, I love them, they are so fun!  BEGL went with a classic horror movie, The Exorcist and came up with Excellent Day for an Exorcism.  This is such a great movie, so many memorable scenes!  If you haven't seen this one, you really should add it to your October Scary Movie list.  You'll be able to purchase Excellent Day for an Exorcism from 9/7 - 9/10 for $13.  There is a 150 bottle cap.  Let's check it out, if you're not scared!

Good morning!  Look at me, 2 posts in a row.  Who am I?  Haha.  Well I have some gorgeous drugstore polishes to share with you today and you know what, I totally dig them all.  But what I dig most is that they are so easily accessible.  I used to drugstore polish shop very frequently, but my kids schedules took over my life and I spend a lot of time at the schools so that kind of killed that fun outing for me.  But it doesn't mean you can enjoy perusing the aisles of Walgreens, Rite Aid, CVS or even Target to see what types of polishes they have on the shelves!  Aside from appreciating the ease of shopping for Sally Hansen Miracle Gel, I also like that you can coupon and save money on them most of the time.  Even if not you aren't breaking the bank with a huge price tag.  The Sunset Splash Collection consists of 6 shades that are absolutely perfect for the end of Summer, start of Fall!  Let's jump in and see what Sally has in store for us!

Morning dears!  Exciting game this morning!  Who are we rooting for, Croatia or France?  Truthfully neither are "MY" team so I am just enjoying the game. Anywho, looking through old polish I haven't swatched/shared with you and realized I didn't do anything from The Indie Shop that was in San Francisco last summer.  It was a really fun event, mermaid themed, my daughter enjoyed it as well.  I really hope they plan on coming back to the Bay Area soon!  So this was a duo available at the show, created by Envy Lacquer and Nvr Enuff, I think they actually came with a cute frosty blue shot glass but I don't remember where I put that.  They were inspired by the movie Moana.  Of course these aren't available now, but both shops have lots of gorgeous polish to pick from so head over to their sites to check them out.

Hey hey!  It's Friday and you know what?  Today I don't feel like doing anything...I just want to stay in my bed.  You know what I mean?  Well if you don't, that's how the Bruno Mars The Lazy Song goes.  It's one of his earlier songs but it's great, I love the melody and his voice.  Seriously, Bruno is one my favorites and I was so stoked to see him in concert earlier in the year - he was amazing!  But this post isn't about Bruno, well it kind of is.  Colors by Llarowe is participating in the Hella Handmade Creations group monthly polish release and selected Bruno Mars as the inspiration.  Hence the polish The Lazy Song.  This gorgeous polish will be available from 6/14 - 6/21 over on the HHC website.  It will be $11.  So lets jump on in and check it out!
