Starting this party off with the Seasonal Garbage, Holiday 2018 quad. Let's start with Eleven Cookies in the VCR, a strawberry-bubblegum pink with holo flakes and red to green aurora pigment. Super fun color and a nice change up for a holiday collection. Everyone expects red, green, icy blue...not hot pink! Well played! Also, it's a line from one of the best Christmas movies ever, Elf. "I'm sorry I ruined your lives, and crammed eleven cookies into the VCR." Yeah, Buddy said that! Great formula, jelly-ish but full coverage. 2 coats and topcoat used.
Welcome to the Party, Pal is an ultramarine blue full of holo flakes and cyan/indigo aurora shimmer. This one really wowed me. It's even more vibrant and awesome IRL! If you are a fan of blue you are going to adore this one! It drew inspiration from Die Hard, apparently John McClane said this...but I haven't seen Die Hard so I have no idea! Another fab formula and easy application. No problems to report. 2 coats and topcoat used.
Here's Full Blown, FourAlarm Holiday Emergency. Ok, I knew I recognized this quote but I had to cheat and look at Karen's description here...it's from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation! Another totally hilarious and classic Christmas movie. Of course these words were said by the completely crazy Clark Griswold. This is a gorgeous grape crelly full of red/pink shifting aurora shimmer and holo flakes! No issues with either the formula or application. 2 coats and topcoat used.
And the final shade in the Seasonal Garbage collection is Seasonal Garbage. It's a blue leaning teal crelly with purple/green aurora shimmer and holo flakes. Love how the purple sparkles really shine through in this polish! Such a nice contrast of colors. Again, zero problems with the formula, application was perfect. 2 coats used and finished with topcoat.
And now the Black Friday single pours! These will be extremely limited edition and will not be remade. If you love it, snag it quickly!
Whiskers on Kittens is a lovely rose gold polish with gold and bronze flakes, pink holo shreds and holo accents. Very sparkly, very pretty. Reminds me of a bubby glass of pink champagne! Such a festive color for the upcoming holidays! Formula is nice, the polish dries with a bit of texture so you definitely want topcoat. I used 2 coats and topcoat. Whiskers on Kittens will be $10.
Where the Lovelight Gleams is a muted purple crelly with red/green shifting aurora pigment. I actually saw some copper in there too! Really gorgeous color and it looks awesome in all kinds of lighting! Trust, people will notice your nails when you wear this! The formula was a bit on the sheer side but it built up nicely in 3 coats. Finished with topcoat. Where the Lovelight Gleams will be $13.
The Thrill of Hope is a beautiful blackened indigo creme with holo micro flakes, purple flakes and micro glitters. I love that its dark and vampy. A perfect shade for cold winter nights and glamorous parties. Superb formula and application, no problems. A-hem, this is a 1coater!! Finished with topcoat. The Thrill of Hope will be $11.
And last but not least is As in Olden Days, a gorgeous darkened blue to purple shifty multichrome polish with silver holo flakes, bronze micro flakes and holo pigment. Wow! This is one stunning polish and yes I am biased because I do love the darker shades, especially in the Winter. Formula and application were both fantastic. 2 coats for full opacity and polish depth. Finished with topcoat. As in Olden Days is $12.
