Morning! Happy hump day! This week is going by fairly quickly, it's nice to have the normalcy of a daily routine. Though it's still a bit difficult for me to get out and run errands and such, trying to figure out what times work best for the baby so he's not crabby. At the moment I get the most done in the early morning and later evening. So while I have some spare time and are hands here's the new Morgan Taylor Marilyn Monroe holiday collection. 12 glamorous shades inspired by the beautiful starlet herself, Marilyn! This elegant collection is available now for all your holiday nail needs and you can check out Preen.me for nail art ideas! It's also a great place to pick up makeup and outfit ideas for upcoming holiday parties. So let's jump in to the post and check out the polish collection!

She's a Natural is a nude creme, it reminds me of a safari type of khaki. This is a great base color for nail art! Nice formula and application. I used 2 coats for full, even coverage. I finished with topcoat.
Some Like It Red (ok cute take on the movie title Some Like It Hot) is a fun red/pink glitter topper. Several different sizes of the metallic glitters in a clear base with some holo glitters thrown in for extra bling. You can wear this fun polish over any base! I put 2 coats of Some Like It Red over She's A Natural.
Hollywoods Sweetheart is a pretty and feminine blush pink creme. Very neutral shade, great for daily wear and understated looks. Formula and application were perfect. 2 coats for total opacity, topcoat to finish.
Wrapped In Satin is a fresh baby blue full of shimmery sparkles. The color is really pretty but the formula wasn't so great. It was chalky and streaky. I used 3 coats to even it out and then finished with topcoat.
Ice or No Dice is a metallic polish that is a bit pewter-ish, a bit antiquey. It's almost like finely milled gold and sliver particles. I like that it's sparkly in an understated way but very noticeable at the same time. Great formula, application was a breeze. 2 coats plus topcoat.
Another sparkly, blingy polish! This is Diamonds Are My BFF. Its a glittery silver polish that you can wear alone or over a base color. It builds up really well on it's own, no sparse areas or bad spots. Formula and application were both wonderful. 3 coats for full coverage and topcoat to keep it shiny!
This medium toned blue creme is Blue Eyed Beauty. This has all kinds of Spring vibes but it also reminds me of Frozen so it works for Winter too! Formula and application are both great. 2 coats used for full coverage and topcoat to finish.
Moving along to a fabulous shimmery mauve-brown. I Prefer Millionaires is one of those colors that you'll either think is gorgeous or hideous. I'm leaning towards gorgeous because I think it's a unique shade. The shimmer is pretty heavy, thus causing a bit of a frosty effect which as you know, will lead to visible brushstrokes. No issues with formula or application. I used 2 coats and topcoat.
Batting My Lashes is one of my absolute favorites in this collection. It's the darkest brown, espresso creme. So elegant and luxurious. I adore dark shades like this, especially in the colder months. Gorgeous formula and application. I used 2 coats for full coverage and topcoat.
My other favorite is Wish Upon A Starlet. This glamorous shimmery deep red is stunning! It has a slight glow look from the shimmer, and just the slightest hint of copper at some angles. Love love love! Perfect for the holidays and when ever you want to feel sexy. 2 coats plus topcoat. No problems with formula or application.
But wait...here's another that I really, really love! The Camera Loves Me is a dark maroon creme. Nothing like a good, vampy creme for the holidays. Actually, it's a really perfect shade for anytime! It has a 90's vibe too, which I totally dig. Good formula, nice application. 3 coats plus topcoat used.
Closing it out with A Kiss From Marilyn, a classy red creme. This red actually seems to have an orange undertone. The formula was a little sheer and I still had VNL after a few coats. But does this not scream Marilyn Monroe? It totally does! I used 2 coats (maybe 3, I forgot) and topcoat.
I also got this cute little tin with an image of Marilyn Monroe on it. I wasn't quite sure what the tin was and had a nice surprise when I opened it and found little containers full of sparkly gemstones. These are gong to be perfect accents to bling up some nail art.
