Afternoon dears! Ok I'm back home now and gonna share a couple back to back posts because it's getting down to the wire for the Polish Pickup to open up. I believe it opens at 11am tomorrow (not sure if that's EST or PST). The theme is Crystals and Gemstones so you know that brought us lots of gorgeous, whimsical shades and ethereal whites and color shifting flakes and beautiful shimmers. Alter Ego chose to represent the Rose Quartz, which was always one of my favorite stones when I was a kid. Yes, like basically the rest of the population in the 80's and 90's I collected "rocks". But that's got nothing to do with this post so let's jump on in and see what Cynthia came up with for us to enjoy! Don't forget, Polish Pickup is open from 1/5-1/8 and Rose Quartz will be $7.

So here's Rose Quartz, inspired by the perfectly pink crystal of the same name. It's a stone of the heart, with a feminine energy of compassion and peace. Rose Quartz is a soft pink with a silvery-white shimmer. The shimmer is heavy which could push it into frosty territory, but it steers clear of that. Formula is a tad sheer, but I feel that helps the polish look like more like the semi-translucent crystal. I used 3 coats and topcoat.
