LeChat Dare to Wear: Indie Fest, Summer 2018

Evening lovelies!  How was your Saturday?  The kids and I went to a birthday party, then a real barber shop for cuts and now we are enjoying a movie night and eating as much popcorn as we can humanly stomach - which so far is 2 bags between us.  So since I can't just watch a movie as I always have to multitask, I've got a post to share with you.  Actually I've got a few things lined up so I'm going to start sharing Summer collections!  Woot woot!  Makes sense since next week is my kids last week of school - oh yeah!  Tonight I have the brand new LeChat Summer Collection, Indie Fest.  Aptly named to reflect all the fun festivals that occur during the hot summer months.  This 6-piece collection is full of fun and interesting colors.  The Indie Fest Collection is available now and are $6.95 each (hello bargain!).  Let's jump right in to the post to enjoy some beautiful nail polish!

First off let me say I can't pick a favorite as I think they are all really gorgeous and perfectly capture the fun and free spirited vibe of Summer.  So with no rhyme or reason lets start with Hearts on Fire.  This is a gorgeous coral full of sparkly gold shimmer.  It is a absolutely perfect beachy color and I think it will make a fantastic pedicure!  Great formula and application.  No issues.  I used 3 thin coats and finished with topcoat.

Free Bird is a vibrant sea glass green creme.  Refreshing and cool, probably just like the type of person who wears this color (like me)!  I love sea glass and collect it from beaches whenever I can find it.  So I have a soft spot in my heart for polishes in this shade.  Nice formula and application.  No problems to report.  I used 3 thin coats for full coverage.  This dries to a satin finish so I added topcoat for a shiny, glossy finish.

Gypsy Rose is a lovely magenta pink creme.  So beautiful.  Don't really need to say anything else about it!  Formula and application were both great.  I used 3 thin coats.  The finish was more glossy with this one and I probably didn't even need topcoat but I used it anyways.

Bohemia is a super unique and beautiful shade.  I love neutrals and this one is just so different than anything I have.  Against my skin tone it almost has a touch of pastel terracotta to it!  Such an interesting Summer shade. Anyways, I love this color.  Formula and application were both fantastic.  I only needed 2 coats for full coverage.  No topcoat needed.

Wild and Free is a lovely neon-ish purple creme.  Like not eye searing neon, but definitely more bright than your standard run of the mill purple.  So I'll go ahead with my neon-ish classification.  Superb formula, practically applied itself.  I used 2 coats for total opacity.  This one dries with that satin finish so I used topcoat for the glossy shine.

Last but not least is Electric Daisy, a shimmery sunflower yellow.  I know yellows aren't for all, but I think they are beautiful!  And this one is exceptionally pretty with it's shimmer and shade.  It gives me a fun, cheerful vibe.  I can totally picture wearing this out to a county fair or local festivals!  Nice formula, good application.  I used 3 coats and had just a tiny bit of visible nail line, but not it wasn't drive me crazy noticeable.  Finished up with topcoat.
