Stella Chroma: Winter 2018, Nutcracker Trio

Happy Friday y'all!  Hope you had a great day.  Mine was pretty nice, walked with a friend for coffee then met up with my hubby for lunch!  The weather was so nice too!  I'm trying to get back into switching nail polish when I have down time, though I might not really have any down time until Christmas passes.  I'm popping in tonight with the Stella Chroma Nutcracker Trio, part of the Winter 2018 collection.  3 gorgeous and whimsical polishes inspired by the popular ballet.  I love that this trio gives you feelings of dancing snowflakes, wintery nights and sugar spun sweets. This is Herr Drosselmeier.  It's a soft, sheer dove grey crelly full of red to orange to yellow shifty iridescent flakes and red to gold shimmer.   I love the sheerness of it, like a wash of sparkle and shimmer on my nails.  Formula and application were both great.  I used 3 coats and finished with topcoat.

Sugar Plum Fairy is another totally beautiful, sheer crelly.  It's a light grey-purple with red to green to purple iridescent flakes and green to yellow shimmer.  The soft colors are so pretty and you really see the shift in different lighting.  You get a sweet look like your nails were dipped in shimmery bits of candy.  Nice formula and application, no issues with either.  3 coats and topcoat to finish.

And the last on of the trio is Mother Ginger.  This is a teal-is blue jelly full of red to orange to blue shifty iridescent flakes and green to yellow shimmer.  This is one of those vibrant colors that makes me feel happy! I also really like to see these vibrant colors in Christmas patterns!  Great formula, nice application.  No complaints here.  I used 3 coats plus topcoat.
