Lollipop Posse Lacquer: Year of Tarot February 2019; The Sun, The Hanged Man & The Tower

Evening y'all! You haven't sen me in a while.  I haven't been swatching too much yet this month, I've been pretty busy with the new baby and getting back in shape.  I'm having fun with my new YMCA membership and I've made it my personal goal to try out as many classes as possible!  Today I tried the Stand Up Aqua class and it was really fun!  I fell off my paddle board 3 times, not too bad.  But I've been getting nail mail and need to spend some time swatching.  I do have the new Year Of Tarot shades from Lollipop to share with you tonight, yay me!  First off, the new Year of Tarot shades will be available on 2/9 at 8pm EST.  Second, they are all BEAUTIFUL!  Serious you guys!  Karen's use of aurora shimmer and flakes is amazing.  The 3 new Tarots will be $12 each.  Let's jump in to the post so you can see what I mean instead of just taking my word for it.

Let's start with The Sun.  Inspired by the Sun card, it radiates optimism and positivity.  When you pull the Sun card it's all good things; success, radiance, abundance.  The Sun is a gorgeous white crelly with gold to green shifting aurora shimmer and copper/red/gold/green shifting flakes.  You can wear this along for an ethereal look or over a darker color to really show off the shifty colors.  I decided to show you The Sun both ways in one mani!  I have 3 coats of The Sun alone on my index and middle fingers, and 1 coat over a black creme on my ring and pinky.  Formula and application were both great, no issues, no problems.  I can't decide which way I prefer it!  Topcoat to finish.

The Hanged Man is a greige scattered holo filled with red/green/gold aurora shimmer and holo micro flakies.  What a snazzy way to perk up grey! It was inspired by The Hanged Man card which represents surrender when it's needed the most.  Let go of old ways of thinking and acting that no longer benefit you, see situations from a different perspective.  I like that, what a great way to embrace personal growth.  Great formula and application.  No complaints about either, all was smooth sailing.  3 coats plus topcoat used.

And last in the trio is The Tower.  This might be my favorite of the three.  It's a dusty blue with scattered holo, red/green/gold aurora shimmer and copper/green/gold iridescent flakes.  This one is inspired by The Tour card, which means expect the unexpected, massive change, upheaval, destruction, chaos.  But with that comes a necessary change, one you might have not made otherwise.   This polish applied perfectly in 3 thin coats.  I'm in love with the contrasting colors, gorgeous!  Topcoat to finish.
