Good afternoon! I'm just getting back to regular after a vacation with the family. Vacations are so fun, but the packing and traveling is so tiresome. Especially when I have to pack myself and 4 kids. That's why it's nice to take day trips to close by events like festivals and carnivals. Speaking of carnivals, that is the theme for August, At the Carnival and it's open 8/2 - 8/5. If you haven't browesd the albums in the Facebook group yet you should totally do so and the site is open so get over there and make your wishlist! There are loads of amazing shades coming out. Let's jump in and I'll show you what I was lucky enough to review.

Always in random order, let's start with Stella Chroma today! Her polish is called Spin Me Round and it was inspired by that vomit inducing ride, The Gravitron. I would ride this multiple times in a row as a kid but now I can't even fathom getting on it once. It's a fun and beautiful shifty multichrome, showing off silver, green, purple and gold. It also has some UCC flakes too. I used 2 coats and finished with topcoat. Formula and application were both stella-r.
Stella Chroma: Spin Me Round, $12, no cap
With matte topcoat
Stella Chroma also has a sugar scrub in Deep Fried Twinkie scent. Guys, this smells fantastic and just like the carnival treat! It's sweet and sugary and so delicious, I think I had caloric intake just sniffing it. But really, I totally want to go out and get a deep fried twinkie RIGHT NOW. Of course the scrub is amazing and leaves my skin soft and covered in a layer of hydrating butters and oils.
Stella Chroma: Deep Fried Twinkie, $6, no cap
Alter Ego has Whirlin' In the Moonlight, inspired by a photo of the giant swing ride. Guys this ride terrifies me. I have visions in my head of the chains breaking and I go flying off, in my chair to crash down in some nearby field. I might actually just have a general fear of all carnival rides because I don't think they are very safe. Thankfully these polishes are safe and gorgeous! This beauty is a deep navy blue shade full of tiny gold holo glitters. They appear more silver in my photos. This will dry a bit rough looking but with a layer of topcoat it smooths out nicely. I used 2 coats and topcoat.
Alter Ego: Whirlin' In the Moonlight, $8, no cap
With matte topcoat
Ooh can't wait to talk about this one! Dreamland has a real stunner for us. It's The King and The Queen of Mardi Gras World. If you haven't herd of it, it's the place where they display the floats for the parades Y'all, she had me at Mardi Gras. I have a deep love for NOLA and all things related to it. So anytime there's a polish reflecting it I am all grabby hands! This gorgeous polish is a soft blue crelly base full of gold and iridescent flakes. Great formula and application. I used 3 coats and topcoat.
Dreamland Lacquer: The King and The Queen, $12, no cap
With matte topcoat
And lastly I have KBShimmer Mirror Mirror in the Stall. Inspired by the carnival game stalls that had band posters in a mirror like frame as the prize. This one is a major looker. I actually wore it to Hawaii on my fingers AND toes! It's a silvery shade full of micro holo flakes and aurora shimmer that shows off shades of pink, green and gold. It has totally different personalities depending if it's in the shade or sun. Great formula and application. I used 3 thin coats and topcoat to finish.
KBShimmer: Mirror Mirror in the Stall, $10, no cap
With matte topcoat
In the shade
Direct sun
