KBShimmer: Up & Autumn Collection, Fall 2019

Happy Sunday Y'all!  I had a busy weekend on the books - soccer games, Halloween parties, school festivals, volunteer hours and a birthday party.  Trying to squeeze in a quickie post tonight featuring a dozen amazing polishes before my head hits the pillow.  I usually do a picture or two of each polish when the collection is this large, but when there are so many colors and shifts and finishes to show off its too hard! So this is a picture heavy post. Grab a coffee, tea, beer, wine, water, whatever floats your boat, and grab a comfy spot on the couch for this one.

This is KBShimmer's Up & Autumn collection for Fall 2019 is truly fabulous.  There is only 1 creme in the group (so if you are a creme lover this is probably not for you).  This collection launched on 10/11 so they are all already available and you can shop immediately!  The entire Up & Autumn collection will set you back $94 or you can pick up individual shades for $10 each.  Let's jump in a d check out the post.

Starting the show off with the only creme, which is a gorgey shade.  This is Up & Autumn.  It's a dusty cedar with coral tones.  Such a unique shade with a fantastic formula.  Applied perfectly in 2 coats.  No topcoat used.

Here I have the beautiful flaky topper Raking It In over Up & Autumn.  This topper is reminiscent of fall leaves - red, yellow, orange, green.  It looked great over this solid base but works well over the different finishes in the Up & Autumn collection too.  I used 2 coats for a heavy does of iridescent flake action.  Topcoat to finish.

Raking It In over Trend Sweater (index), Having A Gourd Time (middle), Spice Things Up (ring) and Vested Interest (pinky).

One of my FAVORITES!  This is Having A Gourd Time.  It's a trickster polish, the base is an olive green but the shifty shimmer shows off red, orange, gold and green.  Really petty and so perfect for the fall!  The formula was super creamy and opaque.  2 coats and topcoat to finish.

If You've Got It, Haunt It is a nice, deep blue holo.  It's got subtle shifts to deep navy, purple and black at times.  While the ultra linear holos have that wow factor, holos like this are beautiful in their own way.  And if there were ever a "fall blue" this would be it!  Like an inky October night sky! I used 2 coats and topcoat to finish.

Twist & Stout was inspired y the rich stouts that we all move on to in the Autumn weather.  Full of coffee, chocolate, licorice and molasses notes.  This is probably the darkest brown I have ever put on, it's nearly black.  Another totally creamy formula that applied perfectly in 2 coats.  Topcoat used.

This is Trend Sweater.  It's a lovely multichrome polish.  It shows off fuchsia, rose and lavender shades. It's full of holo micro flakes for some added interest.  They really help give it that lit from within glow.  I used 2 coats for perfect coverage and topcoat.

Moving on, here's Clothes Minded. This cruelly is the palest shade of cream with tiny glitters in blue, purple, copper and brown.  I love crellies, especially ones with light bases like this.  I did think the there could have been more glitters in the base, I feel like this looks a little sparse.  I used 3 coats and topcoat.

Spice Things Up is another favorite of mine.  This multichrome has shades of orange, copper and red.  It's literally fall in a bottle - or better yet, apple cider on your nails!  Great formula, great application.  3 coats and topcoat.

Vested Interest is a multichrome shade full of holo glow flakes.  It's a bit of a dusty green to start with deeper green, teal and blue showing up.  Another favorite of mine as it reminds me of my favorite utility jacket.  And you have to love the effect you get with those glowy holo flakes!  I used 3 coats and topcoat.

Down to the last 3.  I think I have the most pictures of these ones so hang in there with me!

Free Fallin' was inspired by the crunchy leaves all over the ground.  It's a deep auburn base full of iridescent shifty flakes.  You'll mostly see red, orange and gold colors.  It's all in a nice squishy jelly base.  I used 3 coats and topcoat for a glossy finish.

Ready for a thermal!!?  Here is All Fired Up.  It's inspired by the smoke of a bonfire (hello perfect!). The black base changes to a smokey grey, nearly clear shade when warm.  It's also packed with color shifting metallic flakes.  Those colors you'll see in a fire, that's what you'll see here too!  Red, orange, yellow.  And just because it's fun, there's a red to green shifting shimmer.  I used 3 coats and topcoat.

And last but not least is Apple-y Ever After.  I am super excited about this one because I actually saw it naturally change to all 3 shades and got a picture of it!  I have had no such luck with the tri-thermals in the past so I damn near crashed trying to get the picture. As you probably assumed already, Apple-y Ever After is a tri-thermal.  It changes from apple green to a caramel to coffee brown.  Holo micro glitters are an added touch for sparkle!  I used 2-3 coats (honesty can't remember) and topcoat.
