Old Time Movie

Holo readers!  Today was rainy and cloudy, but I still put on a new polish and got some good pictures.  I'm wearing 2 really great polishes and can't wait to show you the pictures.

Old Time Movie from 365 Days of Color is a really fun bottle of black and silver glitter shards.  It applied nicely, and there were only a few spots that felt "bumpy" after topcoat.  If I had a bottle of Gelous I bet that would have smoothed it out, but since I don't have it, 2 coats of topcoat did a good enough job for me.  I really liked how well the nail was covered with the glitter, not too dense but not too sparse.  Just the right amount.

I layered OTM over Deborah Lippmann It's Raining Men a true red creme.  I picked It's Raining Men because when I think of old time movies I think of glamourous Hollywood and the starlets in their pin curls and bright red lipstick.  So I felt red would be the perfect undies for OTM.  I used 2 coats of IRM and after the first one I had to show my husband because whoa, it is a knock out bright and shiny red!  I am not a red polish kind of person but I really really liked this!  It applied like a dream, so creamy and bright!  I used 2 coats of It's Raining Men.

The shop is currently closed, but when it re-opens you can get 365 Days of Color here.  I reviewed Summer Dream recently and you can see it here.  Deborah Lippmann is available at Nordstrom, other fine department stores , HSN, and their online store.
