Good morning dears! Sorry for disappearing after promising posts last week. Both of my laptops broke/dies/went kaput so I have been without computer access since Thursday. Sad times. I have taken over my husbands office computer for the morning so hopefully I can get a few things up while I wait for laptops and hard drives to return. So here's the Smitten Polish post I teased and promised you with. This is the most amazing Opalescent Elements collection - Neon. Jelly. Flakies. Need I say more? I am totally enamored with this collection. It's bright and fun, unique and interesting. You can purchase the Opalescent Elements collection (pre-order) on 4/25 at 2pm CST. During the pre-order individual bottles are $11 and the full set is $42. After the pre-order they go up to $11.50 each. I know you don't want to hear my gabbing anymore so let's get to the pictures!

I went in alphabetical order today so up first is Aer Opal. This is a neon magenta-purple jelly with opalescent flakies. This is a gorgeous color and the flakes really glow inside of the base. I see a lot of gold and the combination of the 2 together is stunning. The formula and application were both fantastic. Great coverage and easy to apply. The only thing I would mention it to watch out for larger flakies sticking off the end of your nails. I used 3 coats for full coverage and 1 layer of topcoat.
Aqua Opal is a breathtaking neon blue jelly with opalescent flakies. This color is amazing and perfect for the summer! It's so vibrant I found myself just staring deep into my nails getting mesmerized by the lovely mixture of blue base and greenish flakies. Again, perfect formula and application. I used 3 coats and 1 layer of topcoat for full, glossy coverage.
You KNOW I love this one. It's totally my color. Ignis Opal is a fiery neon pink/coral jelly packed with opalescent flakies. This one is super bright and super in-ya-face. I just want to paint everything with this happy color. The flakies lean orange/gold in this polish. As per the norm...fantastic formula and application. 3 coats for full coverage and a layer of topcoat for a glossy finish.
And last but not least is Terra Opal. Neon lime green jelly full of opalescent flakies. Noelie really kicks butt with this shade of green. I found this one to be the most sheer of the collection, but I know that Noelie adjusted the formula to make it more opaque. It applied great I loved the green/gold color the flakies picked up. I used 4 coats and 1 layer of topcoat.
