Chloe + Isabel Nail Polish Trio

Good morning dears!  It's Monday, boo.  Thankfully I have a pretty little nail polish trio to share with you today.  Maybe it will make your day better.  I'm not sure if you've heard of Chloe + Isabel before.  It's a fun fashion jewelry brand that has recently ventured out into makeup, bags, candles, accessories and....nail polish!  I've been a merchandiser since 2011 and love having the perfect piece of jewelry to wear with every outfit, but I did feel the brand was missing something.  I'm really happy they expanded their product line up.  Once I saw they had a nail polish kit I had to snatch that up right away.  You can purchase this trio for yourself or as a gift for $28.  From now until 12/28 you can save 25% site wide with the code FFHOL25.  Let's jump in and check out the polish!

The trio comes in this adorable blue box with the signature Chloe + Isabel birds on the front.

The back shows the names, color description and ingredients list.  These are paraben, gluten free, cruelty free, vegan and 5 free.

The inside of the box has a sweet little motto, C+I's motto.  be creative.  be confident.  be you.

Once you open the box you see the polish and the motto.  The base of the box has 3 small rectangles cut out for the polishes to snugly fit inside.

From left to right. Macaron, Chandelier and Moulin Rouge.

I also wanted to show you the brush.  Sometimes a non-nail polish company delves into polish-land and there's something amiss in their formula, bottle, brush style.  But not here.  Everything is up to par with mainstream brands like OPI and Essie!  The brush was fantastic.  I'd compare it to a Dior brush with it's width and slightly domed shaped.

Macaron is a neutral pink/mauve creme.  Nice, wearable color that's suitable for any occasion.  Formula and application were both superb.  Creamy, opaque and glossy.  I used 2 coats for full coverage and no topcoat needed.

Moulin Rouge is a deep red with a squishy jelly formula.  It's super shiny and super sexy.  Formula was a touch sheer, but since it's more like a jelly that's expected.  Other than that it was a lovely formula that applied easy and smooth.  I used 2 coats and no topcoat needed.

The last polish in the trio is Chandelier.  It's a blingy gold glitter bomb.  The glitters are multiple sized and densely packed.  You can wear this alone in 2-3 coats or as a topper over any base color.  Application was a cinch, the glitter came out of the bottle easily and didn't clump together on my nails.  I used 2 coats of Chandelier over a base of Macaron and finished it up with topcoat.
