Evening! I have a lipstick post for you now. I really like tying out new lipsticks, it's a fun way to change your look inexpensively. The Only 1 lipsticks are all in one; long lasting color, comfort, moisture and wear. And the matte formula ones tout non-drying, long lasting velvet matte lip collar. There are 10 shades available in The Only 1 Matte Lipstick line and they are available at your local drugstores for about $8. So let's jump in and see what these lipsticks are all about (and be prepared for dorky selfies)!

I like the tube shape, with it's angled cap. I also like the red finish, makes them stand out in my lipstick drawer. I picked out colors that I thought would be fun to wear this upcoming Spring. Below you'll see clockwise from the top; Keep It Coral, The Matte Factor and High Flyer.
The colors are swatched on my arm under an artificial light. Top to bottom; High Flyer, Keep It Coral and The Matte Factor.
Alright, on to the formula and wear. I'll go ahead and include all 3 shades in this general statement. The lippies went on smooth and easy. No tugging on my lips to transfer color. The matte formula didn't feel drying at all and my lips felt soft and supple. I do feel I've worn more *matte* shades but I like that these weren't a harsh matte finish.
High Flyer is a soft pinky-nude matte. It's an easy daily wear shade that I think will have a pretty high rotation in my stash. 2 thumbs up!
Keep It Coral surprised me because it was much more orange that coral on me. But I know it must have been my skin tone. Otherwise I actually liked the shade and I'm sure I'll have occasions this Spring and Summer that I will totally rock this lipstick.
The last one is The Matte Factor. I love this red-berry shade for date night. It's sexy and made me feel pretty. If you want a more dramatic look then this one is for you!
