Dreamland Lacquer; Spring 2019 Collection

Evening lovelies!  Just wanted to pop on, even though it's a little on the late end for you East Coasters.  I have some gorgeous new (and updated) Dreamlands for you to drool over and I figured I'd split them up in to 2 posts - but since they come out on the 30th I better get them both shared ASAP! Alright so thesis the Spring 2019 collection.  It is all that and a box of Peeps (which I love - mmm crunchy marshmallow goodness).  So this 4-piece collection of aurora pigment crellies will be for sale 3/30 at 2pm Central for 48 hours.  They will be $40 for the set or $10.50 each.  Turn around time will be about 3 weeks.  When these are restocked they will go up to $11 each.  I don't want to waste any precious time gabbing because I want you to SEE these!  But before we jump in let me warn you that this post is picture heavy, enjoy! Let's go!

Starting the party off with Two Peeps in a Pod.  This one is bright spring green with pink/gold aurora shimmer.  I totally get a lime vibe from it!  The shimmer really shows off the gold but when you move around you'll definitely notice the pink.  Formula was a little tricky, it applied similar to an older matte giving a patchy look.  I found that if I used thicker coats this was mostly eliminated.  Noelie is aware of this and is trouble shooting to ensure the formula is the best it can be.  But I didn't feel the formula was that much of a pita child, I still loved it!  I used 3 coats and finished with topcoat.

April Showers is a bright aqua with pink/gold aurora shimmers.  Super gorgeous color that looks like a beautiful ocean photo on pinterest.  Fantastic formula and application.  No issues to mention.  3 thin coats for full coverage and topcoat to finish.

May Flowers is a bright pink with red/green aurora.  Hullo gorgeous!  This is a perfect color for Spring and Summer. The aurora is waaaaaay more prominent in real life, my photos don't do it justice.  Great formula and application, no complaints here.  I used 3 coats plus topcoat.

And finally we have Never Trust a Groundhog.  This one is a medium blurple with red/green aurora shimmer.  First of all the base color itself is amazing!  And I love how the red shimmer just pops against the blurple.  I also like that you can see the bluer side of the polish around the edges.  Fabulous formula.  Great application.  No problems.  3 coats for full coverage and topcoat to finish.

I used all 4 of these plus the upcoming May PPU to create this fun rainbow look.  I recently ran a local 5K that is totally about women empowerment and supporting other women.  People show up in head to toe pink, purple, rainbows, unicorns, etc with tiaras and all the fun stuff that runners like to fun-run in.  I found these awesome Lisa-Frankesque tights and felt my nails matched pretty damn good!  I topped them of with Essie Shine of the Times for some iridescent flake goodness.  Love how they turned out!
