Good afternoon, happy Tuesday! How is April halfway over? Can 2019 slow down just a bit? I feel like I don't have time to do anything and the days are literally flying by! And I am counting down the days until my house is completely done. Looks like we are down to the last 2 weeks of contractors being here and things being worked on. Until then we have 1 bedroom for all of us (thankfully it's my new HUGE master bedroom) and there's room on the floor for mats for the kids to lay on. They think it's fun, like camping, pshhht - kids. Ok but that has nothing to do with today's post so let's get in to it.
Dreamland Lacquer is having a launch with 3 gorgeous remakes! Her popular shades A Wedding Dress That isn't Bright Turquoise, The Search is Over and You Saucy Minx. These have been redone with Aurora UP shimmer and they are gorgeous, as well as more opaque. I have pictures of the new ones compared to the old versions also because I know how fun comparisons are! The new Aurora UP Remakes will be available 4/19 at 2pm Central. They will be $10.50 each/$30 for all 3 during the 48 hour pre-order. $11.50 after that. Let's jump in and check them out!

The first one is A Wedding Dress That Isn't Bright Turquoise. First off I love the color. It's been upgraded to a more blue and slightly more opaque formula with gorgeous aurora shimmer that shows off gold, pink and green shifts. It have a jelly like formula so it is still sheer, but it builds up great. I used 3 coats and topcoat to finish.
Comparison time! New on left, old on right. 3 coats of each and topcoat.
New on index and ring, old on middle and pinky.
You Saucy Minx is probably my favorite of the 3. It's a dark blurple with lots of aurora shimmer. The color shifts show up as violet, gold and green. Absolutely stunning! This is exactly the types of polish that make my heart beat a little faster. And it has a great formula to boot! 3 easy, thin coats to build it up to near opacity. Finished with topcoat.
More comparisons for you! Old on left, new on right. I used 3 coats of each and topcoat.
Index and ring are new, middle and pinky are old. The old version is more sheer, jelly, and also darker with less shimmer.
And the last one is The Search is Over. Another stunning color (I've grown to love this berry shade more and more as the years go by). It's just one of those colors that is perfect for all seasons and any occasion. The aurora shimmer shows up mostly as gold in this one. Formula and application were both fabulous. I used 2 coats and topcoat.
And the last comparison! Old on the left, new on the right. I used 3 coats of the old version vs 2 coats of the new. Topcoat on both.
New version on index and ring, old on middle and pinky. The old version is a much thinner formula and slightly darker. I was able to build up the new version much easier.
You Saucy Minx and The Search Is Over are both absolutely stunning - both the OG and the remake. NEED THEM IN MY LIFE! Adding date to my calendar.
