Lollipop Posse Lacquer: Tour '73 Collection

Evening dears!  I have another post with Lollipops to share with you tonight!  These are releasing tomorrow so I didn't want to wait until the morning to share them, let's just do it now!  So this is the Tour '73 Collection, inspired by the movie Almost Famous.  I have seen this movie once and it was along time ago.  I know it has Kate Hudson as a groupie and a guy on a roof who yells "We're golden Gods!" before jumping in the pool.  That's about it.  What I do know is that I can vouch for the beauty of this collection.  A rainbow of colors with shimmers and flakes.  Definitely great for accenting your outfits at some Summer rock 'n roll concerts! The Tour '73 will be available individually, 5/10 for $10 - $12.  Let's jump in to the post!

Well since this is kind of a rainbow I'm going in rainbow order!  Let's start with Kissing Tiny Flowers, inspired by the Led Zeppelin song That's The Way.  This is a fun and vibrant magenta pink with green/gold shifting shimmer and aurora shimmer in purple/green.  Under my artificial light I mostly saw a golden hue to the shimmer.   But hello, what a fab combo!  Fantastic formula and application.  2 coats and topcoat.  Kissing Tiny Flowers is $10.

To Be Satisfied might be my favorite.  But you know me, totally biased to love anything orange.  It was inspired by Lynard Skynard Simple Man.  It's got a lot of color going on; peach, coral, pink, creamsicle.  Of course it's full green/gold shifting shimmer.  Formula is a crelly and it applies like a dream.  I used 3 thin coats and topcoat.  To Be Satisfied is $10.  *just a note that my pictures were a bit more vibrant and orange than the polish IRL*

The only other Spring/Summer color that makes me swoon as much as orange is green.  So my heart did a flip for Your Entire Future.  This electric, neon green crelly was inspired by Anita Miller (a character in Almost Famous).  Lime green looks good with cyan/indigo aurora shimmer, turquoise shimmer and blue/purple shifty flakes.  I would suggest that you let each layer dry completely before adding the next so as not to pull the previous layer off.  I used 3 thin coats and topcoat.  Your Entire Future will be $12.

Ok so I guess I have another favorite because I have a big, dark star by this one in my notes.  It's A Person of Substance, inspired by Elaine Miller, another character from Almost Famous.  Yes, I realize I do have a soft spot of aquas and turquoise too.  Damn, my heart is just a big mushy mess for the rainbow!  This is a pastel aquamarine crelly with pink/gold aurora shimmer, holo micro flakes, and shifty iridescent shimmer.  Pretteh!  Great formula and appellation, nothing to gripe about.  3 thin coats, topcoat to finish.  A Person of Substance is $12.

Oh How It Feels So Real was inspired by Elton John's song Tiny Dancer.  It's a sheer baby blue jelly (almost  periwinkle color IMO) with gold shimmer, red/green/gold aurora shimmer and iridescent shifting hex glitters. Gorgeous colors with a whimsical vibe.  I do wish this one were more opaque though.  3 coats plus topcoat.  Oh How It Feels So Real will be $12.

And the final color of the rainbow, Wise in Simplicity.  From Sparks by The Who.  This is an iris-purple crelly with green gold shifting shimmer, turquoise shimmer and green/purple aurora shimmer. Hullo to all the shimmahs! My naked eye under an artificial light sees the green and turquoise and an almost silvery shade!  Love the base color here too!  Opacity was back to nearly full coverage with this one.  I used 3 thin coats and topcoat to finish.  Wise in Simplicity is $10.
