Happy Friday! I'm so glad for the weekend, though I'll admit this week has been pretty mellow. No soccer practice, no gymnastics. Next week will be my welcome back to Fall sports week and I'll be taxiing the kids around like a mad woman again, not yay. I mom life hard, people! So today I have the Girly Bits June Colour of the Month Duo. These shades (just like all the previous months) are fabulous! I am loving both and I even threw them together for an easy nail art look! The June COTM Duo are inspired/named for Pam's Indie Expo Canada experience and are available now until 7/31. They are $16.50 CAD each. Ok, let's jump in and check these out!

Lightest shade first, here is Let's Do This Again!, a light chartreuse holo with pink shimmer. I like that it's got a pearly, shimmery look to it with that added holo. Very pretty! This is pretty sheer, but it builds up easily enough. I used 3 coats, you can still slightly see my nail line. I finished with topcoat.
What The Hell Was I Thinking? is my favorite of the 2. It's a very holo with pink to gold shift and a helping of holo micro flakes. SO GORGEOUS! It's got a scattered holo look with those fabulous flakes. Great formula and application. This is easily a 2 coater, but I used 3 thin coats and topcoat to finish. I didn't get a picture of the shift, but Michelle at ehmkay nails did so go check out her post HERE!
And I did art! I kept is simple because I wanted both shades to stand out! So I used Let's Do This Again! as my base, created some thick stripes using striping tape, and painted What The Hell Was I Thinking? inside the taped off area. I removed the tape, slapped on some topcoat and it's done! Super easy and super pretty!
