Evening dears! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty good, a mix of busy and relaxing. I'm watching Halloween shows with the kids right now.. Aside from that I am just catching up on my blog, getting ready to do some swatching. Tonight I have the new BEGL Halloween collection for you. It's inspired by a great show, Stranger Things. Season 1 was so good, I can't wait for season 2! Did you watch Stranger Things on Netflix? If you're a fan of spooky and haven't seen this yet I highly suggest you set aside a day for Netflix and chill before the new season starts! The Something is Coming collection will be available on 10/24 at 3:30pm EDT, prices range from $8 to $12. This is a limited release launch and it's unclear if Julie will re-release them again in the future. One thing I am sure of is that BEGL reformulated their base and you'll get the same great coverage with a thinner polish to work with. I really liked the new formula and found it very easy to work with. Ok, let's jump in and check it out!

I had to start with this one first, Eleven's favorite food. Eggos? is a peach leaning baby pink crelly with green to bronze to red shifting shimmer and red/gold/green shifting micro glitters. I like how dainty this polish is, much like Eleven's dress. Great formula, great application. I used 3 coats and finished with topcoat.
Something Hungry for Blood is a a bright red packed with copper shimmer and red, blue and gold microflakies. This is a perfect blood red with a touch of glowy finish. This is a perfect match to the color of the show's title. Great formula and application. I used 2 coats and finished with topcoat.
Curiosity Door is a blackened navy blue jelly with turquoise glass flecks and a green to teal to blue shifting shimmer. This is a beauty! Love the darkened color, love the pops of color. Awesome formula, awesome application. I used 2 coats for full coverage, finished up with topcoat.
And the last polish in the collection is Keep These Lights Up. It's a black jelly base with scattered holo pigment and rainbow colors. Aside from the holo pigment there are silver holo glitters, silver/white and blue microflakies, fuchsia/copper/lime shifting flakies and green-blue/fuchsia/gold color shifting flakies. Lots going on in this one but I definitely get that string of Christmas lights feel with this polish. I actually love the dark, spookiness of this polish, but think that it'll also be perfect for Christmas or a NYE mani. Fabulous formula and application. 3 coats plus topcoat.
