Evening all! Anyone watching Baseball Opening Day games? I've got the Giants/Dodgers game on but my hubby and I were discussing that we just aren't in to it this year. What can I say, we are a soccer family! Alright but professing my love for the Beautiful Game is not why we are here. We are here because I have another awesome polish from the April PPU to show you! Tonight I have Monster In A Turbulent Star from Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer. You'll be able to pick up Monster In A Turbulent Star from 4/6-4/9 for $12. No cap on this polish. Ok then, let's jump in and check it out!

Monster In A Turbulent Star was inspired by a photo of the NGC 2264 cone nebula captured by the Hubble Telescope. It's a bright orange leaning red scattered holo with larger particles of linear holo, aqua shimmer, turquoise glass flecks, gunmetal and gold microflakies and aurora shifty pigment. So much going on in this polish! I think the color is gorgeous, the red-orange hue is totally my thing. The formula was a little on the thick side but it wasn't difficult to work with. I was warned it could possibly be a stainer if you don't use base coat, I typically swatch without base coat and did so with Monster In A Turbulent Star, I had no issues with staining. I used 2 coats and finished with topcoat.
