Evening friends! I have a nice, big post for you tonight, featuring the new Alter Ego Fan Favorites collection. Well it's not huge, but it's a nice rounded out 6 piece set. The Fan Favorites collection is available now and you can either pick up the set for $51 or individually for $9.50. There is also a mini bottle option available for individual and sets, with a smaller price tag. The Fan Favorites has a nice array of colors and finishes, definitely something for everyone. But enough of the chit chat...let's jump right in and see the polishes.
Spring Rain is a gorgeous deep aqua blue with holo sparkles and silvery shimmer. This color screams Summer to me and it's awesome! Formula and application were both great. I did get a few bumps and I couldn't tell if they were bubbles or a tiny cluster of glitter but it was only the one or tow so I felt it was a fluke. I used 3 coats for full coverage and topcoat to finish.
Morning Glory is a metallicy lilac with a frosty finish. Because it's frosty it does have a rather streaky finish. But I think this polish will be great for stamping. Formula was streaky as I mentioned, and I had a couple random bibles show up. I used 2 coats and no topcoat.
Silver Lining is a nice chrome silver full of black glitters. Very pretty color, different. I do like the addition of the glitters but they give the appearance of a textured finish. Once topcoat is applied it is smooth to the touch. I used 2 coats and finished with topcoat.
Summer Sunset is my favorite of the collection. This soft pink full of red glitters and gold shimmer is so beautiful and really gives me warm weather vibes. Formula and application were both great, no complaints. I used 3 coats and finished with topcoat.
Finally we have She's A Brick House. This is a beautiful deep berry with same tone shimmer. It's a fantastic vampy color that is uber sexy. Formula and application were both fabulous. No problems or complaints. I used 2 coats and finished with topcoat.
