Born Pretty: Gemstone Stamping Plate

Today was a nice day.  The weather was perfect.  I visited with my grandpa.  My kids were all good.  Thank you Tuesday for not being awful.  I'm back to the old blog and chain tonight with a quickie post featuring a super fun plate from Born Pretty.  Took me a little while to really get decent at stamping and I feel that I am no longer a novice at it.  Maybe I'll start trying to double stamp and reverse stamp.  I think I can do it!  Anyways, this is a great little gemstone plate, lots of loose stones and jewelry and all kinds of fun.  I can't seem to locate this particular stamping plate but there are so many fun ones in the shop right now!  You can save 10% using my code JTOW10.  Alright, let's check it out.

So as I mentioned, this plate has lots of loose stones on it and it's really fun.  I started with a white base, used Salon Perfect Sugar Cube.  I then used CbL Chameleon Stamping Polish (a shifty stamping polish) for the images.  The plate was etched nicely, I was able to pick up the images easily, and they transferred to my nails well.  I finished with the Born Pretty No Smudge Topcoat.
