Sweet Heart Polish Disney Villains Collection

Good evening!  I can't believe how hot it is here right now.  I seriously don't want to leave my air conditioned cocoon of a house.  Alas I have to because (yup, you know it) soccer practice.  And maybe an Earthquakes game tonight.  So I've got dinner on the stove and everything is cooking away so I thought I'd break away and share the latest and greatest from Sweet Heart Polish with you!  Cassandra has been working on these flakies for a while and you can get them now!  These flakies are inspired by Disney Villains!  Super cool!  They're going to make for fabulous Fall and Halloween manis!  There are 6 polishes in the Disney Villains collection and they are $10 USD full sized and $7 USD mini!  Let's jump in and check them out!

NOTES: I used Essie Marshmallow as the base for all 6 flake polishes.  I used 1 layer of the flakies over Marshmallow but you could easily use 2-3 coats for a more dramatic effect.

Up first is Evil Queen, inspired by the Evil Queen in Snow White and the Seven Dwarf's.  This is a "green to teal to purple flakie polish with sterling silver micro flakes."  I love the colors and think they capture the Evil Queen perfectly.  Evil Queen was easy to work with - great formula and application.  I used 1 coat over Marshmallow and a layer of topcoat.

Drizella is a "green to orange to pink flake polish with a hint of glitter thrown in."  I am so happy that the mean step-sisters from Cinderella are being recognizes as villains!  Gosh they were such bullies!  Drizella has a lightly tinted base - pink, as you can see that it turned Marshmallow pink!  Again, super easy formula, applied like a breeze.  I used 2 coats and a layer of topcoat.

Am, which I had to check, is one of the Siamese Cats from Lady and the Tramp.  So this is one of my favorites.  I really love the "copper to purple flakies...with a hint of glitter thrown in."  I think it's super classy.  I used 1 coat of Am over Marshmallow and was pleased with the sparkle payoff.  The formula and application were both fabulous.  I finished with a layer of topcoat.

Everyone's favorite villain...Maleficent.  She's one of the baddest baddies around.  And she sure had it in for Aurora!  If you don't know, Maleficent is from Sleeping Beauty.  She is a "blue to teal to purple flake polish with a hint of glitter thrown in.  The color shift here is slightly less obvious but the formula and application were both wonderful.  I used 1 coat of Maleficent over Marshmallow and a layer of topcoat.

Si, the other half of the mean Siamese Cat duo from Lady and the Tramp, is a "gold to copper flake polish with a hint of glitter thrown in."  Yup. this is my other favorite of the collection.  Man these gorges neutral tones really nuzzled their way into my heart!  I mean just look how classy Si is!  Totally wearable all the time or for a special occasion.  Again, perfect formula and application.  No issues to bring up.  I used 1 coat of Si and finished with topcoat.

Last but not least, Anastasia.  She's the other mean step-sister from Cinderella.  Thankfully they both get theirs in the end and while neither were very nice, they are both very nice polishes indeed!  Anastasia is a "gold to purple to blue flake polish with a hint of glitter thrown in."  Fabulous formula, great application.  I used 1 coat of Anastasia and a layer of topcoat.

Lumina Lacquer Maleficent & Bear Pawlish Maleficent

Good morning lovelies!  I'm up, had my coffee, thinking about a quick run and ready to watch soccer as much as humanly possible today.  I'm not necessarily cheering for anyone in particular (USA of course) but it's fun to watch the games and let yourself get all excited over bad calls and goals.  If you aren't a fan grab a beverage, a bag of chips and settle in for at least a half....you'll like it, I promise!  If nothing else you can laugh at the over the top dramatics that soccer players are known for.  But until that all starts how about a mani post?  Both of these polishes came out around the same time and I loved that they had the same name.  Of course I chose to wear them together!  Let's take a look!

Bear Pawlish: Shop, Facebook, Instagram

Let's start with Lumina Lacquer Maleficent.  This limited edition beauty is a "dark purple holo micro glitter polish in a clear base."  Maleficent is LOADED with gorgeous sparkle.  It can be worn alone in a few coats or over as 1 coat over a base color.  I chose to go it alone and it built up great!  I used 4 coats of Maleficent for full coverage, I had zero nail showing under the glitters.  Plenty of glitter came out and it spread perfectly on my nails.  I finished with 1 thick layer of topcoat.

*slightly blurred to show more sparkle*

And then there was Bear Pawlish Maleficent.  I swear these two polishes of the same name were meant for each other!  This Maleficent is a bit of a tricky gal....sometimes she seems more blue, other times definitely purple.  So let's just call her blurple for safe measures.  But color aside, what you really want to know is that the linear holo on this polish is nuts!  I love how prominent the blue and fuchsia colors are in the flame.  Formula and application were both stellar!  I used 2 coats of Maleficent and 1 layer of topcoat.

*Of course I did a fun switch up on this mani!  I had to!*
