Evening lovelies! We made it though another week, second week of school, and my first night coaching soccer. I also made it through tons of swatches and have loads to go. I think Fall is going to be busy, busy, busy! Tonight I wanted to get this post up for you because the deal is ending soon! The Polish Convention Returns To Chicago
Polish Con to be held September 23rd, 2017 at Navy Pier, Festival Hall in Chicago, IL
After a successful event in New York, The Polish Convention, an event celebrating and exclusively featuring indie nail polish brands, is returning to its hometown of Chicago, IL. This bi-annual event hosted by Ever After Polish and Great Lakes Lacquer takes place September 23rd at Navy Pier, Festival Hall in Chicago, IL. Navy Pier, Festival Hall is the largest locale for Polish Con so far, and will be filled with over 30 local and international vendors helping attendees celebrate their love for nail polish, and nail polish accessories through shopping, live demos, tutorial tables, and meet and greets with their favorite brand owners and creators.
KBShimmer owner Christy Rose says “We are thrilled to be returning to Polish Con for our third time. The new venue at Chicago's iconic Navy Pier is such beautiful location! This new and larger locale will allow attendees a more pleasurable shopping experience and the makers more opportunity to connect with fans. Some of the over 30 brands that will be in attendance this year, along with the event organizers, are KBShimmer, Glisten & Glow, Cupcake Polish, Different Dimension, and Girly Bits. For nail artists, bloggers, and indie polish lovers in the Chicago area this is the perfect opportunity to meet the creators behind your favorite indie brands, socialize with other nail enthusiasts in the community, and learn new nail art techniques through live demos and tutorials. Shop the latest trendy nail polishes including chrome, holographic, unicorn and mermaid flakes, thermal, glitter and many more unique colors and styles from the wide array of vendors. You will also find nail and hand care items and nail art tools.

Alter Ego September Polish Pick Up Exclusive: Rime Time
Evening y'all! Back to the grind again tomorrow. I did noting but clean the sh*t out of my house all weekend so I am actually looking forward to Monday. I'm also getting the kids off to bed so I can watch GoT. Hopefully this isn't a spoiler at this point, but from what we saw last week we've in for a crazy dragon battle tonight. And since Winter will definitely be here, my nails are all icy with a little help from Alter Ego Rime Time. This polish is part of the September Polish Pickup, Fall Foliage & Fun. Morning! How's Saturday morning treating you? I'm being lazy and enjoying a second cup of coffee before I start working on the bedrooms...so much crap to purge out of the house. And with soccer starting up again for my kids soon I don't have much time left to tackle this task. So last night I shared one of the September Polish Pickup shades and today I'm back with another. Stella Chroma used a pictured from a bonfire as the inspiration for her polish, Fireside Light. ellagee September Polish Pickup Exclusive; Ablaze
Evening dears! I'm super excited for the September Polish Pickup sections! The theme is Fall Foliage & Fun and from the pictures I've seen I am going to want every polish offered. I've got a few to share with you so I'm starting with this red beauty from ellagee. It's called Ablaze and it's inspired by this amazing picture of these leaves that are so red the look like they are on fire! Anyways, if you love this polish you can only purchase it from 9/1-9/4. Girly Bits Bass Ackwards, September A Box Indied
Good evening lovelies! I am back today with another post to share! I really wanted to get this one out quickly because it's release date is coming very soon! What I have on my nails is something special and flipping HAWT! The September A Box, Indied has the theme "opposites" for the 5 indies included to work with. That means they all created a polish very different from their usual style! Well Pam from Girly Bits went with a thermal. She's never done a thermal before and it's totally awesome! Before we get into the post I have to give you the details on how to get the sub-box. The September A Box, Indied goes on sale on 8/26 and is $50 with free US shipping. There are 5 full size indie polishes in there. So now let's all enjoy a look at Bass Ackwards and have a good giggle at the name!

Bass Ackwards is a neon orange polish with some golden shimmer and what looks like white flakies. It's bright! It's in your face! It's the prefect end of summer polish color! The formula and application were both wonderful. I only needed 2 coats for full coverage and it went on evenly and smoothly. This is the shade while Bass Ackwards is in it's cold state.

This beautiful pink is Bass Ackwards when it's in the hot state. I love that the bright shade of pink rivals the orange - both are vibrant and loud! Neither will be ignored!

I also wanted to show you Bass Ackwards in direct sunlight (because that's just my thing). Look how bright this polish is! I adore it.
Here's Bass Ackwards warmed up to show off the pink color in the sunlight! SO BRIGHT! Seriously, both the hot and cold states really made my camera do some work. The pink is even more vibrant in person!
How fun is this picture showing the colors together! Aren't the they perfect pair? The complement each other very well.
