KBShimmer October Polish Pickup Exclusive: Resting Witch Face

Evening!  Hopefully you had a great day!  I've been running around all night getting kids to games, practices and pick ups.  I actually jumped on the freeway headed home, on autopilot, and realized I completely forgot to pick someone up!  Oops!  Then I was late to pick up from the last practice and it was literally pitch black when I rolled up, sigh.  It's been a really busy day so I'm not being too hard on myself.  Ok so I am sneaking in with a quickie post for another fantastic Polish pickup shade that will be available tomorrow morning.  If this isn't on your wish list get it on there because it's one of the more unique thermals I have come across!  This is KBShimmer Resting Witch Face (the name alone would be good enough reason to buy it).  It was inspired by The Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz. This is such a classic movie and she is such a classic villain!  Christy nailed it with the color changes in this polish too! Alter Ego; Ego Maniacs Group Custom, Champagne Taste, Beer Budget

Morning dears!  My Thursday started off great!  Why you ask?  Because I had to be out early for an appointment and ended up in the neighborhood of the BEST donut shop in the area, Stan's Donuts!  This place makes all kinds of donuts but what they're known for is cranking out hot, glazed donuts that literally melt in your mouth.  Mmmmmm.  Now that that very useful information is out of the way let's talk about nail polish.  Alter Ego has a very pretty new polish coming out soon.  It's a fantastical lime green loaded with a UP-esque shimmer.  Champagne Taste, Beer Budget will only be available to members of the Alter Ego Maniacs fan group on Facebook.  I don't know the exact price, I don't know if it's LE, but I do know it will be available on 7/6!  So let's jump in and check it out.

ellagee Absinthe Makes the Heart Grow Fonder

Morning beauties!  Happy Thursday!  The weekend is sooooo close, can you taste it?  Today I'm back with another post featuring a lovely polish from ellagee.  Absinthe Makes the Heart Grown Fonder is a new polish in the shop and it's available for purchase now.  This is going to make your green-loving heart squee and it's a great Summer shade too.  You can pick this green holo up for $13.  Alrighty, let's jump in and check it out!

Lumina Lacquer Halloween; For Whom the Spell Tolls & Little Box of Horrors (partial collection review)

Good afternoon dears!  It's raining here which is great, but I am in limbo all morning waiting to find out which of my kids soccer games are scheduled and which are canceled.  Sigh.  In the meantime I have some brand new Lumina Lacquers for you to take a gander at!  I'm so happy Tatiana had a chance to create a Halloween collection becuase I sure missed her glitterific creations!  The 5 piece collection is full of glitter (surprise!), a micro glitter and a brown/black with holo shimmer!  They are all gorgeous and I have 2 to share with you today.  The entire Halloween line currently available and range from $9-$10 each.   *press sample* Lumina Lacquer: Shop, Mei Mei's Signatures, Facebook, Instagram For Whom The Spell Tolls is a "lime gold blinding holo glitter polish."  It's gorgeous and a unique micro glitter polish in my stash.  I totally love it, this lime green is such a fun Halloween color.  The formula and application were both awesome.  So much glitter came out with each brush dip and the glitters spread perfectly and evenly.  You can reach full coverage alone in 2-3 coats.  I used 3 coats of For Whom The Spell Tolls to ensure there were no bald spots in my pictures.  I finished with 1 layer of topcoat for a smooth to the touch finish.

Little Box of Horrors is a "satin glitter polish that is completely made up of squares in various colors in pastels, neons and black."  How adorable is this polish?  I love that it's 100% tiny squares.  Little Box of Horrors had a fantastic formula and applied so easily.  The glitter payoff was stellar.  I used 1 coat of Little Box of Horrors over 2 coats of Sinful Colors Sweet Tooth.  A little baggie of matte skull and crossbones was included and I applied one in a different color to each nail for a little extra decoration.  I finished with 1 layer of topcoat for a glossy finish.
