Good morning! I have a different post for you today. It is polish related but it's actually for helping keep your fingers clean while doing messy nail art. ellagee recently came out with Lickety Split Latex Mask Mani (there is also a latex-free version) and it's a very cool product. I will admit if felt a little weird painting my skin, but pulling it off in one piece had a very satisfying effect. Lickety Split Latex Mani Mask is available in the shop now and retails for $4.00 a bottle (latex free is $7). I highly recommend this product if you are big on any type of nail art - sponging, watermarbles, gradients, splatter, etc... It makes clean up a snap!
*nothing to disclose*
Lickety Split Latex Mani Mask is simply a bottle of liquid latex used to cover your skin and any part of your nail that you dno't want polish on. I have never used a product like this before and was surprised at how easily it applied. It feels cold on the skin when wet but dries almost instantly (well within a minute). You can then go ahead and do whatever art you have planned. I did a really simple upside down glitter gradient. I didn't really get too much glitter on my skin but I did have alot of the shimmer which always seems to be difficult to completely remove from my cuticle area. Once I was done sponging on the glitter I used a pair of tweezers to lift the Lickety Split and was able to pull the entire piece off easily. Strange satisfaction to be had there. I might just paint Lickety Split on to peel it off. My cuticle and skin area were very clean and I needed no additional cleanup for my mani! Just a little cuticle oil and I was good to go!
*ellagee suggests that you test Lickety Split Latex Mani Mask on a patch of skin to check for allergic reaction. Do not use if you are allergic to latex.
