Good morning all! I've been home with a sick kid these last 2 days and I swear I have gotten nothing done. I'm really just hoping that the flu doesn't get passed to anyone else because we are supposed to go on a short trip next week and I would hate to cancel it. So fingers crossed and everyone is drinking Tamiflu. But while I am dealing with a sicko I can still share nail posts with you so for today I have some Nail Nation 3000 SPAM! I haven't done a SPAM post or a NN3000 post for that matter in quite a long time. I received these beauties last year for my birthday from some wonderful ladies! I can't believe I hadn't tried them until now, embarrassing! I don't think that any of these polishes are available any longer but there is a huge selection of polish to chose from so I'm sure you will find something to love. Anywho, enough gabbing for now. Let's look at polish!
*nothing to disclose*
Babbling Brook is an aqua leaning blue polish with a soft linear holo. It's got just a little purple shift to it. The formula and application of Babbling Brook were both really nice. I reached full coverage in 3 coats and finished with a layer of topcoat.
Holo in Tandem is a gorgeous cornflower blue with pink shimmer. I was totally wowed by this one. The formula was a touch sheer with the first coat but it built up beautifully with no issues. I used 3 coats of Holo in Tandem and finished with a layer of topcoat.
Fuchsia Holo Glam is another stunner! I don't recall seeing any Holo Gasms listed but if you do see one pop up in the shop get it....they are fantastic! It's a full coverage fuchsia and silver holo glitter. This baby has some uber bling. Fuchsia Holo Gasm had a fabulous formula and covered perfectly in 2 coats. I finished with a layer of topcoat but you probably want to use something thicker like Gelous to smooth things up nicely.
Under My Thumb is a soft purple and multi-colored holo microglitter. This is another super sparkly, blingy polish. Like most microglitters you can wear this alone in a few coats or 1 layer over a base color. Since I wanted to show off the actual polish I am showing it alone. The formula and application were good, easy to work with. The glitter spreads nicely and didn't leave bare spots on my tips like some microglitters do. I used 3 coats of Under My Thumb and 1 layer of topcoat.
For this mani I have on 2 NN3000 polishes. Grape Escape Color Tint and Shock Pink Color Tint. They are colored holo topcoats that don't cause a greying effect. They are gorgeous colors to start with and the fact that I can use them to top off nail art is exciting to me! I did something easy just to see how they worked and I really liked them both alot! I started with a base of white, then used 3 coats of both Grape Escape and Shock Pink. I also sponged a gradient on my accent nail. You can see the accent nail is lighter in color but the tints both did a great job with the gradient. They were easy to use and had a really lovely formula. I finished with a lyer of topcoat. Sadly I forgot to take macros of this mani, sigh.
