Good evening friends! Long time no talk! Sorry for going silent, I really didn't mean to and thought I'd be able to jump right back in to blogging (amongst other things) but when I got back from vacation I found myself pretty jet-lagged for a whole week. On top of trying to get a handle on laundry and the regular schedule (running, soccer practice and games, basketball, taxi mom-life, school, etc...) I found myself a bit overwhelmed. But the laundry piles have been put away, the Christmas decorations are packed up, the house is back to is clean-ish state that I can deal with and I can now get back to the old blog. Phew! So please accept my apology for sharing this one late - so late in fact that it's no longer available. But I figured I would share it anyways since I do have the February box on the way to me and well, I hate being behind on things so it just won't feel right to share that one and not this one. And with that we can all take a gander at the January A Box Indied collection. Hopefully you were able to snag on of these - not only are they great winter colors, but there are also some fabulous shades for Valentines Day! Let's jump in and check it out!
Up firsts Crows Toes Revise Your Demise is a periwinkle shade of blue full of shimmery silver flakes. The formula seemed a little chalky with the first layer but it ended up covering perfectly 3 coats. I had no difficulty with formula or application. I finished with a layer of topcoat.
Contrary Polish included the gorgeous slate blue creme called Clean Slate. Perfect name for this color! The formula and application were both awesome! I used 1 coat of Clean Slate for full coverage and finished it up with a layer of topcoat.
Ohhhh girl, Darling Diva Polish made a stunning polish for this box! Dawn Of A New Day is a rose gold holo full of golden shimmer. Wow wow wow. I think rose gold will always be one of my favorite colors. Formula and application were both stellar. I used 3 coats for full coverage. Topped it with a layer of topcoat.
Girly Bits Looks Like We Made It gave me heart palpitations! This beautiful pinky-mauve holo is full of holo glitters and some dark charcoal flakes. Just look at that holo glow! Formula and application were both top notch. I used 3 coats for full coverage and finished with topcoat.
Last but not least is Colors by Llarowe Just A Newbie. You vampy polish lovers are sure to go ga-ga over this. I know I did. It's a merlot red full of holo shimmer and flakes. Color is stunning, finish is stunning, formula and application stunning. Stunning on all counts. I used 2 coats for full coverage and a layer of topcoat.
