Up first is I Made A Promise, inspired by a bromance everyone is familiar with. That bromance is between Samwise Gamgee and Frodo Baggins....and the One Ring. The aforementioned promise is that Sam will never leave Frodo. I Made A Promise is a soft gold holo polish with holo glitter. Formula was opaque and creamy. I reached full coverage in 2 coats. It does dry semi-matte so I finished with a layer of topcoat.
Up next is Breakfast At Luke's, inspired by Lorelai Gilmore and her breakfast/coffee/chemistry at Luke's. I don't know much about Gilmore Girls, but I do know that I adore this color (and anything from Tiffany's). Breakfast At Luke's is a sparkly Tiffany blue holo micro glitter. Another fabulous formula here! Opaque, sparkly, gorgeous. I had full coverage in 2 coats. You'll need topcoat here again because this one dries semi-matte.
OOOH baby! Noelie made a thermal and it's totally awesome! Burned Jam In Vermont is a thermal flakie that transitions from bright red to blackened red. This is my favorite of the trio. What better use of a thermal that to show the hot and cold love between Olivia Pope and Fitzgerald Grant. The formula was fantastic, rich and full of depth (thanks for that flakies), it was almost a 1 coater for me. I decided to add a 2nd coat just to show the full effect of the smoldering beauty. I finished up with a layer of topcoat.
The fist set of pictures are showing Burned Jam In Vermont in it's warm/hot state of bright red. Super sexy and classy, don't you think?
Now here's a little transitional picture! My hands were so warm when I swatched Burned Jam In Vermont I couldn't keep the cold state on my nails for very long. But this was great proof that the color change happens extremely easily and well.
And last is the cold state of Burned Jam In Vermont. this is a deep, blackened red. It's vampy and full of bad-assery attitude! I love how thermals are so dual personality. This beauty is absolutely perfect for Valentine's day.
