Good morning lovelies! Last month the new Pantone color was revealed. But it wasn't just 1 color this year, it was 2, yay! Actually I have heard a lot of grumbling about the colors selected; Rose Quartz and Serenity. Truthfully I am not a huge fan of their selections either, but I think both shades are perfect for the Spring and together they make for great nail art! ellagee took that inspiration and came up with 2 great crellies, full of soft and subtle with matching shimmer. Blue Bella and A Breath Of Pink will both be available on Saturday 1/23 at 3pm Central. They will be $10.50 USD each. So let's delve into the post and we can take a look at both colors and some easy nail art I did with them together.

Up first I have A Breath Of Pink, a pastel and soft rosy pink crelly with a very subtle pink shimmer. My pictures do show the shimmer just a little, but it's much more prominent in real life. Trust me, it's very pretty. The subtleness makes it very demure but flirty! The cruelly formula was aces! Creamy and full coverage. A Breath Of Pink built up perfectly with no visible nail line in 3 coats. I used a layer of ellagee Fast Dry Topcoat on top.
Bella Blue is a pastel periwinkle blue crelly with a sprinkling of blue shimmer. Again, the shimmer is almost unnoticeable in my pictures but in real life you can see just how beautiful it is. I've always been a fan of the monotone play of base/topper so I totally love the color matching of the shimmer and the blue base. Formula and application were both great. I found the crelly formula to be really wonderful - full coverage and the perfect mix of creamy and squishy. I used 3 coats of Bella Blue for full depth and evens. I finished with a layer of ellagee Fast Dry Topcoat.
And as I promised...some easy peasy nail art. I started with a base of A Breath Of Pink and waited for it to dry completley. Once dry I dry brushed on Bella Blue in random strokes all over my nails. I love the distressed and "washed" look this creates. Plus it's literally the easiest nail art anyone can do and I'm all about easy. I topped this with a layer of ellagee Fast Dry Topcoat.
