Hello dears! Ok ok so here's another post in which I am tardy to the party. Man I just can't seem to catch up! So tonight's late post is the Darling Diva Polish The Force Collection! I'm sure you've seen it by now, if not than yay, something new for you to look at! But since I know Carrie is releasing the second collection to follow this one up very soon I thought it would probably be a great idea to pump up the first collection again. The Force Collection is inspired by The first and classic Star Wars movies. The originals; A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. The best. Seriously people, it doesn't get better than these. If you missed out on this collection then you definitely need to get them. I love the finishes and colors and the names. HELLO the names are all perfect! The Force Collection is currently available now and you can pick up the majority of them (only 1 is sold out) for $9 - $10. Enough jabbering...let's check out this awesome collection!

The first one I have to share is May The Force Be With You. Han says this to Luke before Luke takes off to be an X-Wing fighter pilot hero. DDP's May The Force Be With You is a full of iridescent color shifting flakies in a very light blue base. I love how ethereal this looks. You can wear it alone (with some visible nail line) or over another color. I layered MTFBWY over a light blue base. I used 1 coat of MTFBWF and felt the flake pay off was fantastic. Coverage was great. I finished with topcoat.

This soft, sheer white polish full of blue shimmer and holo sparkle is Help Me Obi-Wan Kenobi, You're My Only Hope!. I'm pretty sure everyone knows this is the image/recording of Leia that R2D2 plays for Obi-Wan. This is so pretty and another very ethereal looking polish. I for one have nothing against wearing a nice her polish that shows a little nail line - it's playful and a bit sexy. Anywho, HMOWKYMOH! is so princess-like. Formula was a little sheer, but it built up to a nice depth in 3 coats. I finished with a layer of topcoat.
Moving along, this is I'd Just As Soon Kiss A Wookie!. Ok so this one is actually from The Empire Strikes Back, but that's ok - any quotes from the first 3 movies are epic and well known. Leia says this to Han, to which Han replies "I can arrange that". Good one Han. IJASKAW! is a berry holo full of holo flakes. I also see the teeniest, tiniest holo bar glitters. They're super cute. I found the formula to be jelly-ish and fabulous. It built up great in 3 coats and I finished with topcoat.

Sigh, a love story for all love stories. I Know. This is Han's simple response to Leia after she says I love you. It's perfect, it's sincere, it made all the ladies swoon. He's such a dashing space scalawag. More happened, but if you've never seen the movie (which I find totally unbelievable) than I won't spoil it of you. Oh, it's from The Empire Strikes Back. But the polish, perfect color to showcase that love. I Know is a berry linear holo with sparks of blue glitters. This beauty is creamy and opaque. I only needed 2 coats for full coverage. I will mention that the glitters can appear gritty so use a nice thick topcoat or 2 layers like I did.

Alright I have to be honest...this one has me stumped. I have no idea who the Sith Lady is. But the polish is amazing so does it really matter? Nope. This stunner is a multichrome that shifts from red to gold. I see brown and copper and green in there too. It's full of shimmer and those tiny holo glitter bars. Sith Lady was pretty sheer on the first coat but it built up great in 3. I finished with a layer of topcoat.
I could have found a picture or video of Chewie making his famous noises, but I really found this one funny. Look how relaxed he looks. RRRAARRWHHGWWR is a warm brown polish (with what I see as a hint of orange) full of shimmer and holo. The formula and application were both awesome! I used 2 coats for full coverage and a layer of topcoat.

Another nod to The Empire Strikes Back, in this scene Han really feels Lei's wrath as she lays into him. The insult she slings at him is to call him a Scruffy Looking Nerf Herder. Scruffy Looking Nerf Herder is a deep maroon-red holo. Gorgeous! Formula and application were both fantastic. I used 2 coats for full coverage and topcoat.

Last but not least is Jedi Knight. This can be Obi-Wan, Luke Skywalker or even Darth Vader! But as the shade of this polish is blue I will assume it's Obi-Wan since his light saber glows blue. Jedi Knight is seriously loaded! Multichrome, holo and flakies! Breathtaking! Jedi Knight was sheer on the first coat but it built up great in 3 coats. I finished with a layer of topcoat.
