Good morning my lovelies! I've got a big post to share with you today, featuring products from Alter Ego Body Care Products. Cynthia really upped her game and has some fantastic products in her shop. She really puts care and effort into making safe and gentle items that anyone in your house can use. I let all 3 of my littles use the perfumes and lip balms - you'll see more of them later in the post. All the products in this post are available on the site now so you can start shopping right away! Without further gabbing, let's get started because I have a lot to share!

Let's start with Jewelry Box Ballerina. This is a super feminine, shimmery pearly pink. The color is so pretty and the finish is almost frosty, but it's not. Definitely a ballerina color. You know who adores this polish? My daughter who busts out into ballet moves randomly. Formula and application were both great. Cynthia has tweaked her formula and they are so smooth and apply like butter. I used 3 coats here, you can still see a tiny bit of nail line but it reminds me of a sheer ballerina top and I think it's very pretty. I finished with topcoat. I also wanted to note that this is a mini bottle, yet it's not so mini! It's 8.5ml and has a perfect brush! It was very easy to use. Naomi was able to handle it easily also.
This is She's Got The Booty. It's a fantastic yellow that is vibrant yet not neon, and has a nice touch of holo. I love the shade but I'm biased because I adore yellow polish. This one is fairly sheer, as you can see with my visible nail line. I used 3 coats here but would suggest a 4th or even a light base color to eliminate that if it bothers you. Aside from the slight sheerness, the formula and application were both great. I finished with topcoat. The regular size nail polishes are $9.00.
My favorite of the polish I received is Savors Strawberries (which I don't currently see on the site). It's a juicy red crelly formula full of tiny black micro glitters. Formula and application were both awesome. I used 3 coats here for full coverage and no need for topcoat, this baby is glossy all on it' own.
Moving along to body products!
My model Naomi is using EgoSCENTrics. These are mini containers of solid perfume, think perfume balm. These come in a portable container that's easy to stash in your pocket or purse and take anywhere with you. The scents are light, don't overstay their welcome and are kid friendly. We tried out Night Owl, Secret Lover, Tangy and First Love. Our favorites were Secret Lover, a vanilla/mint scent and Tangy, a citrus/vanilla scent. There are other scents available and the perfume pots are $3.00.
We also tried out the Ego Boost Candy Wrap Lip Balms. These containers are adorable! Naomi was quite smitten with them, plus she's like me and tiny cute things draw her in. We tried out Strawberry, French Vanilla and Melon. It was unanimous among the 4 of us that Strawberry and French Vanilla were nice, but we didn't care for Melon. The balm is smooth and glides easily. I'd suggest digging your nail in to get a descent amount out and on to your lips instead of just using the pad of your finger. While this balm is lightly scented it's not flavored. I wore the balm out to dinner last night and it lasted a good amount of time, at least an hour and a half before I started eating and drinking. Even after I finished there was no balm on my lips but my lips still felt moisturized and soft. There are more scent options for the lip balms and they are $3.00.
I got even more models to help out. My sons Julian and Noah got to test out the egoMANia cologne sprays. I totally love these scents...they are manly, not overpowering and very pleasant. We tried out Magic Man, Wood Worker and Sharp Dressed Man. My favorite is Sharp Dressed Man, smokey, leather, dusky but still light. Perfect scent for your man, or little dudes! These also don't linger for too long so you could easily pack them in your backpack or workout bag and reapply as needed. I like the sleek silver spray bottles as well, very classy. These colognes start at $3.75.
The last product I have to share is Double Agent Face/Body Cream in HoWood. You can find this under the Ego Boosts section and it starts at $3. There are a few other scents to choose from as well and they are all natural scents. I found the HoWood scent to be very earthy. I enjoyed it and found it a bit stronger that the other scents we had tried. This is a whipped lotion, it's light and airy. A little goes a long way. It does appear greasy upon application but that absorbs fully within about 10 minutes and your hands are left soft and moisturized. It's pretty fantastic! The feeling lasts for hours after it soaks in and even through hand washings. Seriously though, my hands have been amazing for days. I haven't tried the cream on my face or body yet but I know I would definitely enjoy it as a body lotion...especially on my legs.
