The Magnetic Pen is a great nail art tool!  It's a bit wider than a regular pen and only about 3.5 inches long.  It's magnet sticks out of the end like a pen tip and I feel this design lets you get the magnet closer to the polish, which causes a greater effect on your nails.

I grabbed one of my older magnetic polishes and got to work with painting.  But I forgot you have to work with wet polish.  I also noticed that I had to work quickly.  So I went with a super simple diagonal line across each nail.  The magnet was very simple to use.  Again, my only real complaint was how fast I needed to work.  But I think that's more the polish than the magnet.  This magnet will also work with magnetic gel polish.
